Served on-draught into a pilsner glass at Santa Barbara Brewing. This is their autumn seasonal. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a half finger head of slight cream, fair thickness, and decent retention. Colour is a clear yellow. Appealing.
Sm: Pleasant crisp barley and light cream comprise the mild strength aroma.
T: Crisp barley with light cream. Full and refreshing, if simple. Built very nicely to be pleasant and drinkable, in this respect it succeeds. Nicely balanced.
Mf: Smooth and wet, and crisp to boot. Not too thick or too thin. Complements the flavour nicely.
Dr: Very drinkable and refreshing. No alcohol is detectable. I'd definitely have it again. Pairs well with pizza.
Serving type: on-tap
