vibe is hard to measure on a Monday night, no one in the place. great selection of bombers and plenty kept in the walk-in, some difficult to find choices, a great selection of Dogfish, German and Belgian varieties, also many different countries represented. prices seems competitive on some lower on others. good for a stop in for specific selections. growler prices are low, but selection seems few.

Great beer distributer with a huge selection... lots of long island brewers but tons of Belgium and german brews... excellent selection

Locals are always on tap and have good prices for growler fills...

Service is okay... had better... had worse...

Only bad thing is they don't do singles... otherwise its a bi monthly visit...

If you blink then you'll pass this place, but if you are able to figure out how to turn into the parking lot then you're in for a treat. The place and staff are always laid back and willing to help, and over the past 2 years the selection has gotten even better then when I first started going here.

The place has a great selection of six packs, bombers and a decent growler station. The prices are always fair and to me the best part of this place is the number of chilled bombers. They have some bargains if you shop around and really carry a fine variety and selection of craft brews.

Bullseye is not easy to find, tucked away off rte 25 in Smithtown but it is worth the effort. As I am always looking and searching for stuff I have not seen before, Bullseye fit the bill. The place is clean, organized and has a pretty fair selection of craft. I was lucky to find some stuff I haven't been lucky enough to have tasted. This made me happy. The day I was there they had four taps working, including a local IPA. The people working that day were not able to answer some questions I had about availability of some brewers but that is the worst one could say about this establishment. It was not crowded as I was the only person shopping. All in all, a good place and worth a regular visit.

in my quest to find new beer stores, i stumbled across this place. i was pleased at the size and cleanliness of the shop. very organized and a massive selection. i did not see anything too crazy, but this was far and away the best beer store i've been to in the area. plenty of bombers, plenty of 6'ers, few growler options...really nice. as for pricing, i noticed plenty of bargains compared to some other shops i've been to on LI. i will definitely be back. i did accidentally pass it on the road trying to find it so keep your eye out.

Now, just for clarification: I was born and raised in Smithtown, where my parents and most of my friends still live and I can tell you most resolutely that no other place in the country less than fifty miles from a major metropolis (NYC) is less likely to become a haven for craft brew than Bulltown.

So I was shocked and surprised to find a legitimately excellent distributor right on Main Street in between all the car dealerships. First off, unlike most LI distributors, this one is bright, well arranged and squeaky clean. No dark corners and dusty piles here.

The selection is well organised by country in one aisle and the American micros in the other. Soda and macros are in the back where they belong. The selection isn't perfect but has good variety and plenty I've never seen before, including a few Connecticut breweries and a full line of Arcadia, Troegs, and Ballast Point. They have a full wall of cold beer, including most of your more popular micros. Prices are consistently five to ten percent lower than I'm used to seeing in Huntington, Ronkonkama, and most of my Long Island haunts.

These guys have both Six Point and Blue Point coming for tastings in the next few weeks and I will be here. I'm still amazed that I lived long enough to see craft beer survive in Smithtown. I can only hope it is still standing and its propietors not tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail by the next time I return home.

Execellent beer store. Has everything you can want or need as far as domestic and microbrews. Also they recently installed a 4 tap growler station which is always full of local favorites (like sixpoint, greenport, long ireland) and hard to find beers (last time the had some Founders KBS!!!). Family owned store that looks to cultivate their customers, are always friendly, and the store is always spotless. The owners son, Kurt, is the man to see for microbrews and is always willing to do the extra work to find out when and if something is going to be available. Definately the place to go in the Smithtown area.

Found out about this place while trying to exhaust all the beer distributors in and around the Stony Brook area.

This is a rather new place and it really shows. Quality of their beer selection is very very good. The place is clean, there are no dusty bottles, and everything is arranged in such a way that it really makes the shopper feel like they take care of their beer.

Service is alright. The one guy that works there when i go in (forgot his name) is the owner. Incredibly nice guy and a pleasure to talk to and you can tell that he's enthusiastic about beer and really wants to help you out. However, most of the time, there's almost no one in the admittedly huge place and its hard to get someone to help you pick out something.

Selection is rather average and its what honestly keeps this place from being my go to store. They are up and coming though and the owner is more than willing to look into the things that you're interested in. They do have a sizeable selection but nothing that you won't be able to get anywhere else.

The prices here are really rather good. In fact, good to the point where you almost ask yourself whether the owner knows what he's doing.

All in all, a good visit and I come here when I know what I want is something reasonably mainstream for the area and I want to get it at a great price.
