I have very mixed feeling about Valley. They have the biggest selection and best prices for 12 packs I have found in Farmington Valley, but be careful on several occasions the beer has rang up for more that the price on the sign. They also have have a good selection of craft brewed big beers and Belgians, but be prepared to pay anywhere from 50 cents to $1.50 more than you would at other places in the area. They have a decent selection for six packs, but once again they are over priced. The staff seems more educated on wine and the managers seem to be rude if you ask questions.

Decent selection for the area. One side of a row of refrigerated product. Another side and another whole row of shelved products. One half is singles and 750ml bottles. The other row are 6 packs.
If found a good selection of both local and national craft beer selections. They encompased pretty much the whole range form sours to stouts. Everything I have tried so far seems to be good (I.E. not old or if its old such as the 2006 Panil it seems to have been kept in a decent enviorment).
The service was ok. No one seemed to be available to help and the front end wasnt too talkative but I wasnt looking for conversation.

They have a pretty big selection. They get most of what ct has to offer but very few limited releases. My complain there is the customer service is terrible. Nobody is ever there is you have questions. The people at the register look at you as you approach like you stole something. I've been checked out in complete silence before... very awkward. Prices are ok, a bit on the high side. They do have a bunch of different 12 pack offerings and a nice size selection of cold craft offerings. In my opinion the downfall of this place is their service. Most people probably don't care though since most people in the berry as grouchy anyways.

Valley is one of my go-to places in town for good beer. They don't have the best selection, but they're a close second to Liquor Depot and they do usually have some beers that you won't find anywhere else. Prices are reasonable, perhaps a bit uneven since some of their inventory is priced lower than at their competitors, and some is priced higher.
My two big complaints with them is that you can't buy singles, and their inventory is sometimes out of date. Be sure to check dates on bottles if they are dated. Definitely worth checking out.
