Imagine taking a pint glass and filling it half full of a macro lager and half full of orange soda. That's what this beer tastes like. Not my idea of a good beer (or even beer). Not recommended unless you think you might like beer that tastes like soda.

Bought this on a whim in Fort Wayne Indiana. Very light mouthfeel without any aftertaste. Nice orangy aroma without the cloying sweetness you would expect from a "girlie" beer like this. No alcohol taste in evidence so you could drink a lot of these. A great beer if you are looking for a light refreshing brew.

Poured from a 12oz brown bottle into a standard pint glass.

Appearance: Very little head, maybe 1/2 inch. Settles quickly into nothing. Beer is slightly hazy, medium yellow.

Smell: Smells like orange sode, Sunkist or Crush. Not hint of hops or malt, just orange sugar.

Taste: Similar to the smell, this is sweet orange flavor. Not overly sugary. Al ittle bit of hop and/or orange peel bitterness at the end.

Mouthfeel: Average carbonation level.

Drinkability: Might be a good summertime drink, reminds me of an malternative or a mixed drink. Not bad, but not what I am typically looking for in a beer.

Pours a one finger white head that fades quickly to a shallow layer leaving a little lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Orange nose. Starts and finishes like a sweet (almost cloying) orange drink, hints of hops in background. Reminds me of Fanta Orange with hops. $1.49 for a 12oz bottle from John's Grocery Iowa City, Ia.

A - Poured out goldish like a cheap macro...pretty color but i prefer something a bit thicker and with more head and density.

S - It smelled great i like the smell of oranges but as far as beer goes...this just doesnt smell like beer.

T - Not bad. I cant say i dont like it but its nothing like my IPA's and my imperial stouts and barley wines...thats where my points come off...

M - felt like fizzy ....beer....not much to really analyze

D - u could drink alot if u like oranges that arent very sweet and it isnt that strong at 4.9%ABV ...i dont know why that isnt listed its right on the damn bottle

from the bottle. poured burnt orange. with no head. aroma floral, orange zest, did some sweetness but didn’t smell like honey, and some hints of malt. flavor, like some others have said tang, and sour orange, was able to pick up the honey. did not care for this.

S: Orange, very welcome, maybe a little candy smell with only a faint beer like note. Appetizing.

A: Orange, little head finished quick. Small carbonation bubbles

M: Strong acidic feel, imagine drinking orange based cleaners! Not welcome at all. Like I should use this to clean rather than drink.

T: At the bottom there is a noticeable ale flavor, nothing to write home about but up front is Orange Orange Orange! As advertised. It almost seemed like I was tasting a fuzzy navel, in fact, that would be a better beverage.

D: Overall, this is a really unusual beer. I know it wasn't my thing, hence the low rating, but because the orange is done with a genuine orange as opposed to a "Tang" orange, it is a nice experimental beer. If you like fruit beers or alcopops, this could be up your alley.

Admittedly Buffalo Bill's Orange Blossom is only the second beer I've ever had with the words "Cream Ale" on the label. My first experement with a "Cream Ale" - Genesee Cream Ale - ended quite badly with a 3/4 full beer left abandoned and the inevitable "Genesee Screamers" on their way.

With a reluctance to purchase another Cream Ale coupled with the possibility of an orange flavored beer I bought one. I was not disappointed.

Pours with a great head that disapates nearly immedately. :-( Creamy taste but the consistency of a light ale. The only thing creamy is the taste, not the mountfeel.

The balacned taste of the orange was very good. Not too strong up front or with an aftertaste.

Overall very good. Over the past year Orange Blossom has become a staple in my fridge, and deservedly so.

This one pours into the glass a chill-hazed golden color. The head begins as a fizzy off-white foam and disappears quickly. Lace was not present.

The smell is orange. Something along the lines of an orange blossom herbal tea comes to mind. I do not detect any beer characteristics.

The taste is probably best described as a carbonated orange blossom herbal tea with a faint malty sweetness, and a mild orange zest acidity aftertaste.

I find this to have a thin, light body, moderate carbonation and a crisp, clean mouthfeel.

I find very little that could be described as beer in this one. Perhaps the best qualities are it’s being refreshing, drinkable and in no way offensive.

A: Out of the bottle and into my pint glass, it has an orange hue that is probably better described as amber. Very thin head disappears almost instantly and leaves neither lacing nor a crest behind. The brew is very translucent, and you can spot a tad bit of bubbling within.

S: Very, very fruity. Orange is certainly the overwhelming scent. Reminds me of a jolly rancher in many regards. My girlfriend described it as being like a Peach Lambic, but it doesn't nearly have the complexity or strength. I'm guessing that I pick up a sweet maltiness to it too, but that might be wishful thinking.

T: Many beer guys will probably knock it for being so fruity, but it's pleasant, so you've got to give it that. Regardless of what it SHOULD be (as a "Cream Ale"), or how a Belgian lambic does it better, this beer is still tasty. I'd use orange again to describe the taste. Almost like a watered down orange juice. Got a slight bit of maltiness and, I'd venture to say, a tad bit of sourness. The back end carries a VERY minimal hop character. Anyways, I'd have to go out on a limb to call this a cream ale, that's for sure. I can almost see why they call it one; there's something in it that might resemble a cream ale character, but you're really pushing it.

M: Very thin, light body. Carbonation is certainly there, but minimal.

D: Good session beer. It's pleasant and light, so I can't see any reason why you might not knock back a six or more yourself. Still, I'd rather spend the money on something better.

Devoid of any kind of real head. Clear golden color and smell like Im about to drink a glass of Tang...hmmm beer in space! Dry, watery mouth and thin body. Slight bitterness from the hops. is noticeable and malt or barley is nowhere to be found. Pretty much orange flavoring is all I taste, not that its overpowering but that's all its really offering. I was hoping for a lot more instead I got Kool-Aid.

This pours into a glass with a nice golden orange hue. The foamy white head lingers. You get an overwhelming orange nose, and the taste follows through. This is like drinking orange soda. I've heard others compare this to an orangesicle, but I don't get that sort of creamyness out of it. I like orange, and more specifically bitter orange in my beer, but this flavor is too far removed from beer to be enjoyable, even for what it is. I had one, and never again.

This beer poured a rich amber orange color, alot more orange than you normally see in a beer. There was a white head that did not last more than 30 seconds and there was no lacing. The smell was a smell of a light malt and sweetness similar to orange soda.

The taste was a crisp sweet taste with a strong hint of orange soda. The after taste was a little dry, but not bad. Mouthfeel was ok, C02 was good and it did not seem overly thin.

Overall not a bad beer, if you like orange soda you should give it a try.

Appearance: Pours a hazy light golden color with a modest head that quickly declines to a ringlet and leaves no lacing behind

Smell: Smells just like Orange Soda, but it does have an aroma

Taste: Not over sweet, this concoction has a floral orange and ginger flavor that tastes as if it was sweetened by honey; the flavor doesn't develop much after the swallow, however

Mouthfeel: Light and effervescent

Drinkability: Sure, it's not really what many would consider beer but it could be far worse; reflecting on what it is, I'd say its OK to drink cold on a hot day

I feel confident that this is probably the worst beer I have reviewed to date.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

A - Thin pour with no head. Amberish orange in color with no sign of lacing.

S - Smell like oranges. Citrisy extract smell followed by, well, not much, the smell is so strong that it blocks out anything else.

T - Wine cooler. Seriously. Alcoholic orange kool-aid. Ack.

M - Like a citris water.

D - Probably this cooler's best quality. It isn't anything I want to drink, but it is very light and very non offensive. Of course, that is an easy goal to achieve when you produce a watered down beer such as this.

This beer poured out very reminiscent of a soda, a lot of fizz, small head which didn't stick around at all, zero lacing. The beer was somewhat of a golden orange in color, with decent carbonation. Smell and taste both dominated by orange, which should almost go without saying. Mouthfeel was light and crisp, went down smooth. Bottom line, if you like a light cream ale and orange flavor, you will love it, if you don't, leave it alone.

A: Snow white heead is fairly fizzy and didn't last long. Color of body is orange blossom honey. Clean and clear with little bubbles streaming from the bottom.

S: Smells like a creamsickle with a hint of lemon zest. Mild grainyness mixed in.

T: Tastes more like orange zest than actual orange beer. Hints of grapefruit with a mild wheat undertone. Little bit of hops on the finish.

M: Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

D: Nice for a hot summer day. I actually prefer to drink this beer straight from the bottle ice cold, but it makes it hard to review that way.

Appearance: Yellowish-orange color, translucent, with little to no head, resembles soda

Smell: sweet orange scent, nothing outstanding

Taste: The slightest amount of of pleasant orange taste up front that quickly bursts into a horrible pithy orange flavor

Mouthfeel: Light mouth feel

Drinkability: Even on the 90+ degree day I could not finish it

Notes: having tried and enjoyed pumpkin brews in the past I wasn't expecting it to taste like a "beer/ale" necassarily. Luckily I opted for the single bottle rather than the six pack.

A perfect summer drink. A nice, clear golden-orange color. Pours with little to no head and a slight fizziness. Smells not overly orangey, but the fruit scent is there.

A smooth and easy drinking ale. Great for a summer BBQ. The taste is fruity, I would hardly say soda-like or syrupy, but not bitter or hoppy.

The name "Orange Blossom" really fits this ale quite perfectly. Maybe not a good fit for all serious beer drinkers, but good nonetheless. Reminds me of Avery's White Rascal. If you like that, you'll like this.

At first I thought I was giving this too high a rating considering I thought it tasted like orange soda, but on second thought, this is suppose to have a fruity sweet taste, so it's right on!

The look is golden, like a cream soda. The scent is of orange. The taste is super orangey. It's very sweet and so much like orange soda I had to double check that I was drinking an ale. Very flavorful indeed, but if you don't like sweets and soda stay away from this one.

Interesting bottle catches the eye. Pours with little to no head. Pale orange/yellow color. Nose is more of a watered-down Orange Crush soda than a beer. Mouthfeel is very thin, again very soda like. Moderately carbonated.

The beer holds up to its label - interesting, but would not purcase a second.

Into a pint glass, pours a clearish golden amber with fizzy head shrinking to nothing after pour, no lacing, probably over carbonated from the looks of it. Aroma is pretty agressive orange peel smell, tastes more like an orange soda than a beer. Get some malts, and it tastes like a beer, but its just no beer-like, no balance of orange peel and malt, and too carbonated, like a soda. Honestly, its a friggin hot day, and this was kind of nice and quenching, but I can't imagine trying this when it isn't 90+ degrees.

Pours clear yellow-orange with little to no head.

Smell is artificial orange. Period.

Taste is similiar to the nose, with the addition of a very slight maltiness.

Mouthfeel is lighter than light.

Is this a wine cooler? I will not drink this again... Although not completely undrinkable - this isn't beer.

Poured a light orange color with almost no head.

Smells exactly like orange soda pop, think fanta, sunkist, or orange crush.

Taste is a odd mix of watered down orange pop flavoring and a bit of beer. No hops or malt to speak of.

Mouthfeel is ultra thin and watery.

Not a real drinkable beer, in fact barely a beer, its closer to the smirnoff and bacardi malternatives than it is to a real beer.

12oz. bottle

Pours a clear golden color with a light orange tint. Has a small white head that fades. No lacing to speak of.

Smells like orange Crush. It smells really good, but no trace of beer in the aroma.

Tastes mildly like orange soda upfront just breifly and then washes into a bland and rather unappealing artifical orange taste that lingers.

Light body and ok carbonation. Feels like an orange residue is left behind.

It's not that I couldn't finish the bottle, but I'll not be drinking another.
