Brown bottle into standard pint.
A: agressive pour gets a quickly dissapating head that left splotchy bubbles and a thin ring. Cloudy honey colored brew.
S: pumpkin up front and then at first all the scents muddle together to smell almost like katchup. Sweetness on the nose for sure, picking up clove and a little bit of muddled spices in the background. It smells good.
T: pumpkin in there fore sure. A little tart on the finish actually (makes the katchup thing a little mote unnerving), not really picking out any of the spices on their own but the overall "pumpkin pie spice" blend is felt and balanced pretty well. No hop flavor, but all in all it is balanced.
M: a little oily but pretty light for a pumpkin ale (at least based on the few pumpkin ales I have had) drinkable for sure. On the light end of medium.
O: not bad but not great. I would drink it again but not pay much for it. All in all an average beer that has some katchupy pumpkin in it.

Sampling now on 2/6/14 though I had this back in 2012. Bottled chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a classic pilsner flute glass.
Pours a amber in color with a 1-finger white foamy head that settles down to nothing really fast. Actually no lacing is seen either. The aroma is light with pumpkin and spices. The taste is a little 'watered' down but you can taste the pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg with maybe a slight taste of cloves for the finish. Overall, it was alright.
