Stopped in on 7/18/09. I've been to Ebenezer's before and I've experienced Chris's hospitality, so I was expecting more of the same. I wasn't disappointed at all. The atmosphere is lively, yet relaxed. The beer selection is second to none. I had a bottle of Cantillon Gueze, Abt. 12, and a berliner weiss on tap. The waitress wasn't as well versed on the beer selections as I would've liked, but the place has only been open for a few weeks, so you can't hold her at fault. I highly recommend the Lion's Pride.

This was a destination spot for me after doing some research for my beer trail. I'd heard amazing things about it, especially the brew list. Glad I did. One thing that kinda got to me was that all the bottled and canned beers were behind the bar and not very well lit so I couldn't see beers that I might want to have purchased. I didn't get to the "other" Ebenezer's but will. I'd definitely go here again.

Enjoyed everything about this brewpub, the knowledge of the staff, the service, the food and of course the beers about 30 on tap. Really liked all the beer posters on the walls, the dragon on the ceiling and the earth monk, which I nicknamed the Moose-Monkey,1 too many beers I'd guess. Went on a Tuesday night for a Bob Dylan birthday(75) tribute listened to 12 different musicians play Dylan songs and also songs by other artists. Had a Great time.

I am not sure why there are recent negative reviews. I have been multiple times, never have had anything but great service, great food, and a nearly unmatched beer list. Always a ton of nearly impossible to find in the US drafts and great bottle list. Maybe I have always been lucky with the taplist, but no matter what, worth a stop for food and beer.

Legendary for beer, forgettable for food. I don't need to leave a run down of their beer program, it's top notch. The bottle selection alone...few places could you do a 5 or even 10 year vertical with Orval or la chouffe. The food however is mediocre are best. Pretty dead on weeknights, but all the better.

Stopped here while on vacation this fall. Nice selection of house brewed beers and some really great ones too. The service was fast and the food was good. Perhaps the best onion rings I have ever had. Can't wait for a return trip.

We visited on a weekday for a late lunch/early dinner. The place was empty except for a couple of bar flies, the bartender, and a waitress we obviously disturbed from slumber. Service was far from cordial. We have yet to know what was on tap because nobody answered the question. Menus were tossed on the tables and "specials" briefly mumbled. We finally figured out we could get a flight of four beers, but we found out later that we were charged $5 PER POUR - whether this was a mistake or not, we don't know since we simply wanted to get on with things. The food quality, from what seemed a limited menu, was excellent and tasty but I felt it was quite overpriced for what it was. The decor is very cool with beer memorabilia all over the place. We probably won't be going back. Even if this experience was not representative, the lack of attentiveness from the bartender and the attitude of the waitress were unacceptable. One or two of the beers in the flight were very good, but the waitress mixed up the glasses and couldn't keep four beers straight, so we have no idea what they were.

Even though they have room for around 30 taps, they only had 10 beers on, 7 of which were lively beers. There was only one decent lively beer and the rest were subpar. The flight I ordered was overpriced at $19.00 for 6 4oz pours. The food was decent. The atmosphere is shitty. No thought put into it at all. The staff seemed clueless and rude. They don't have a bottle list. Place is not what it used to be (see the higher older scores before they changed everything).

Definitely not work the stop in my opinion. Go to Frontier instead.

Great bottled Belgians . Even greater micro brews.

I find this place on Yelp while I was int eh area for business. I figure why not give it a try since it is close to my hotel. Nice looking place and ask the bar keeper for a taxing flight . First beer I taste is Filthy Rich. Amazing . I toasts the bar tender and he says thank the gentleman over there who just brewed it, he came from stone.

Highly recommended, can't wait to go back

I only passed by this place when it was the Lions Pride, but on this particular trip to ME, I figured I'd make an effort to go now that it's a brewpub. It's a pretty standard restaurant vibe inside, with a good sized bar and plenty of seating.

There are lots of taps, but when I was there, it seemed they only had Lively beers on...or maybe I just didn't see the full taplist. But I was mainly there for the Lively brews anyway, so I went with a sampler. Mostly pretty standard stuff, but all solid and on point for the style. Several IPAs, and some Belgian styles. The stand out was the incredible Filthy Rich imperial stout, which I had had the night before at Lovell, but needed to sample again. There was also a bottle selection that was essentially comparable to that of the Lovell location.

Service was fine. I got there about at opening time, so it wasn't too busy, but it did start filling up fast. My bartender was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the beers.

Food was good as well. Mostly general pub grub, burgers and such, with some pricier entrees. Overall a good experience, and worth checking out again.
