A big place with a ton of liquor. We walk in and you are surrounded by alcohol. Wine and spirits one the left and on the far right was the beer. There is a bmc secetion with a lot of beer, the craft beer selection is one aisle. In that aisle is a decent selection some local beers and the average beers from the east coast. On the day I was there there was a wine tasting. The staff was nice and willing to help. The pricing was very good nothing to terribly priced. The pricing was very close to what we had just paid at the dogfish brewry.

A very large liquor store with a few aisles and coolers reserved for beer. Pretty good selection of craft beer, with the usual suspects (Sierra Nevada, Dogfish Head, Stone) and more. There was a small shelf for craft imports as well, which was nice to see. Prices were relatively normal, with a few nice deals out there. All in all a nice place to visit if you are not looking for something out of the ordinary. Pretty close to the level of Atlantic Liquors down the street.

Another one of the larger outlet liquor stores in the Rehoboth/Lewes area. I sort of compare everything to Atlantic since many of the places are all similar so I'll try to focus on what is different.

It's a larger store, with a pretty decent selection. They also make a good effort of laying out six packs and leaving single 12oz bottles on the shelves near them, so if you want to just grab those instead and make your own that's always a plus. Last I went there were still some highly anticipated and released beers that were still on the shelves here.

Foreign and bomber selection is maybe slightly better than Atlantic. Service is perfectly fine and adequate.

Tax free and reasonable prices, worth stopping by to check out.

Lunch at DFH followed by a quick jaunt up Rte 1.

Atmosphere: Outlet Liquors is a veritable warehouse, large in size with plenty of aisles, end units and displays to confuse you. Finding the restroom took two separate solicitations. Beer, wine, liquor, it's all here.

Quality: Well-lit with efficient staff. As I mentioned, the signage for the heads could be a little clearer!

Service: Check-out was smooth and there were plenty of people wandering the aisles. For a Thursday afternoon, the place was hopping (thanks Irene). Two different people offered directions around, so that was nice.

Selection: Good selection. Plenty of DFH. Singles are at a bit of a premium, just two end displays with them. Sixers are plentiful, both in cooler and warm. Selection includes Evolution, DFH, Stone, Lindemans, and Twin Lakes. I walked out with a sixpack of Twin Lakes pale ale (my biggest revelation this trip) and a Theobroma (just felt like I should bring one home).

This store is set up well with the beer along the back wall and back right corner. Overall it is very clean and the staff is usually more than happy to help or leave you be (my preferred way of browsing).

The back wall is the cold case and mostly houses BMC products with some DFH, Evolution, Sam Adams, Victory, Troegs, and a few other decent craft breweries.

They nice thing about Outlet is that they allow you to mix your own 6 pack. Anything on the shelf is fair game and they let you break up six packs to make a single. This aisle has most of the DFH staples, as well as Troegs, Victory, Stoudts, Stone, and others. The biggest problem I have with Outlet is that some of the beer does not get sold by its drink by date. I ALWAYS check the dates on bottles before getting anything there. The price of the 12oz singles are usually pretty reasonable, but the price for the bigger bottles they carry is a bit pricey IMO. If I could I would give the store a 2.5$ rating.

This was the first stop of the three "big" liquor stores around the beaches of Delaware.

The store, of course, puts it liquor first. The beer is located in the back right of the store. It's laid out with cases on the floor; six-packs and singles are on the shelves. They have empty six-pack holders which allow you to mix your own.

Selection is pretty good, better than Cape Ann but not as good as Atlantic. I was able to spot DogFish Head, 16 Mile, Evolution, Old Dominion, Troegs, Victory, Magic Hat, Sam Adams (Imperial Series), Rogue, Stone, Sierra Nevada, 21st Amendment, Flying Dog, and Abita.

The service was also pretty good. I was asked twice, in the beer department, if I needed any help and the empty six-pack holders were also pointed out. There was a mix-up upon check out and two employees were very helpful in sorting it out.

I would stop in again just to check out the selection, but it would be after I stopped at Atlantic.

This place is in a great location, right on Rt 1, headed towards Rehoboth/Dewey areas. Makes for great ease of access when heading down toward the beach areas. We happen to be locals, and visit this locale at least once every few weeks or so.
It is a huge store, but organized nicely. Wine on the left, liquors in the front right, and beer in the back right and extreme back of the store. They have a huge selection, and decent prices. The center of the store is an area reserved for tastings, of both food and beverages. They have daily wine tastings, and weekly "ladies nights" on Wednesdays. They have food brought in by local restaurants to pair with their tastings for the ladies nights. Unfortunately, I have yet to partake in any of them due to a conflicting work schedule. The menus sound quite appetitzing though.
The beer selection is comprised of typical BMC stuff and a decent craft beer section as well. The variety is good, but stagnant, and by that I mean, it's always the same stuff. Rarely, you can find something new on the shelves. It's a good, reliable place to stock up on singles of local beers, and at decent prices. The option for buying singles and making a mixed 6 pack adds appeal to this place.
One warning though, they don't move their stuff as quickly as one would hope, so beware of the dating on bottles.
The staff is helpful if you need them to be, but generally they let you browse at your own pace.
If you get a chance while you are there, check out the bathrooms. Very nicely decorated and fancy-schmancy for what you would expect from a liquor store. No joke!
All in all, a pretty good liquor store. As a local who frequents this store regularly, just wish they had more variety with the craft beer seleciton and a better turnover.

Outlet Liquors does a very good job in all aspects of their operation. The staff is friendly and knowledgable; the store is well-organized and clean; and they offer a very good selection within every department. I was especially impressed with the wine selection, but we're here to talk about beer...

The sign outside flashed "We sell more Dogfish Head than any other store in the world". Well that may be true for now, but I'm not sure what "Eataly" in NYC might do to that! They did, however, have a very good selection, covering everything that's available right now except for the "Bitches Brew" which is obviously sold out because of the new TV show "Brewmasters".

Beyond DFH there was about 28 feet of 4 ft high shelf featuring six packs and singles. The selection wasn't overly great, but they had some good stuff, and some limited releases. There are also beers in other parts of the store (a holiday display, for example) so keep an eye out.

The cooler is large, but as is usually the case, it was mostly stocked with the more mainstream stuff. On the other hand, who really needs their Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary ale chilled anyway?

I haven't covered liquor, so I might as well cover that too. They've got a wide selection, with a lot of trendy / new stuff. I was impressed. Good selection of single malts. And again, everything is well organized and clean.

As for pricing, everything seemed exactly in line, if not a little less than I might have paid elsewhere. It's certainly well worth a visit!

I forgot to review this one on our way back from Dogfish Head. As you walk in you notice this was an old supermarket just taken over by beer, wine and liquor. As usual the macro's are right in front of you but this is a nicely carven wood sign with Craft Beer written on it. I seen alot of Dogfish there and the even had WW stout in a case I was tempted but for over $200 bucks I said nope can't do that.

They are very nice here. The one man asked me as soon as I walked in the door if I needed help and just had an overall nice attitude.

Selection was decent especially with Dogfish Head brews. Alot of different brews for this area and all sold in cases or singles if you wanted. A must stop if you are n the area.
