Yes it looks good, and the bottle is nice - but the head is quite disappointing. Most Czech beers I pour from the bottle give me a head similar to that I get on tap, Klaster doesn't. It does however pour a lovely deep gold colour but the first taste reveals its problems. Whenever I drink it there is a bitter aftertaste in the back of the throat which then overpowers every other mouthful, and by the time you are half way down the glass you are already thinking about what can wash away the taste. Looks nice but doesn't drink nice, and the drinking is the all important thing.

Appearance- An off color copper amber with no head and a little lace.
Smell- Smells of cheap malt. A little beany and pasture like.
Taste- Not as bad as the smell. It is not very bitter but there are some fruity hops tones not much for malt. This is not a great beer but it is OK.
Mouthfeel/Drinkability- Not bad but not an everyday beer. A little refreshing with a mild aftertaste.

A: Pours a translucent light orange, small white head with good retention, light lacing, great medieval label.
S: Tangy sweet malt, sourdough bread, orange, husky grain.
T: Sweet malt mixed with vegetables, some corn. Interesting grassy hop character.
M: Watery, light carbonation, thin body.
D: Fine drinkability, not the greatest lager in the world, I'm sure it would be better at the source.

Had this some years ago and it was better in my memory. Poured with a quickly fading to almost no head and a tiny bit of lace. Color is a slightly hazy deep amber. Aroma was bitter sweet, malty, a little hop, and grainy. Flavor's about the same but stronger in the sweet malt. Hint of green bell pepper of all things. Nothing special, but not bad. Ditto with the finish. Session beer - maybe...

Decent and drinkable. I think I paid 26- for a case. Should have gotten two cases of PBR and a bag of dark-roasted peanuts.
Average-ish all around. A sip doesn't really beget another sip - which is really one of the worst flaws a beer can have.
Maybe a case of Czech Rebel and two bags of peanuts next time.

Got this as a part of a BoM sampler pack. It poured a fairly standard clear yellow color with a pretty nice white head atop. The smell was... slightly spicy and earthy, but I couldn't shake the slight hint of urine, unfortunately.
This is a pretty easy drinking lager, with a fair amount of bitterness and earthy spices to counteract the cereal/grain malty flavor. It is better than your typical macro Euro, but not anything to get too excited about. The mouthfeel was medium and not too fizzy, and like I said, it is certainly an easy drinking beer. Not bad at all.

Pours a murky yellow-orange with a huge rush of carbonation bubbles which burn themselves out quickly, leaving a diminutive, quickly fading off-white head. No lacing is left behind at first, but after a few drinks some occasional stripes of lace cling to the glass. Aroma is sweet and candy-like. The smell is unique, but that makes me wonder what my palate has in store.
Tastes a bit innocuous at first, with some malts, melon and hops all involving themselves and making for a very unique lager in the end. A certain astringency also exists. Mouth-feel and body are according to style. There's not much more to say.
I think folks who appreciate lager's might go for this one to an extent, and those who are looking for something else might not appreciate it all. That being said, I think we can all agree that variety in beer is the spice of life.

Purchased from Market Cross Pub.
A- Poured a hazy/cloudy siena color. A nice 2 finger head rises to the top and hangs around for a minute.
S- it has smells of grass and wheat. Some malt also hits me in the nose faintly. Also smells like spiced hops.
T- Malty and a light wheat flavor. It also tastes malt hoppy, if that makes any sense. I canalso taste the barley in it.
M- smooth and slightly filtered. More juicy than anything.
D- easy to put down and very smooth. no complaints and it is a decent beer. Not rough and no bad afteraste.

I was surprised to see this one wasn't in the system yet, but there were other Klaster beers listed. Anyways... poured from the bottle into a pint glass, beer is a clear, light straw color with a two-finger, bubbly, white head. Smell is primarily of malt, it also seems to have a slight spiciness about it. No apparent hops. The spice reemerges in the taste, slight citrus notes are also faint but apparent. The mouthfeel is light-medium bodied, with a smooth consistency and dry finish. This is a drinkable beer, not overly special but worth trying. A solid lager.

The beer pours a gold color with a 1/4" white head that fades to lacing. There is a lot of carbonation lingering on the sides of the glass. The aroma is good. It has a hearty pale/pilsner malt scent that is a bit sweet along with a light Czech hop aroma. The taste is decent. It has a sweet pilsner malt flavor that goes down easy and finishes clean and dry. This seems to be an all malt beer. It's a bit thicker than I like my pilsners and it doesn't have much of a hop bite to it. The mouthfeel is decent also. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate/good carbonation. This is a damn good drinking beer, but it's not on my favorite Czech pilsner list.

500ml bottle 5.0% alc. Dark golden, slightly hazy beer, small off white head. Very doughy/buiscuity aromas, only a touch of hop. Wow this is a very malty, thick Bohemian Pils, chewy almost, slight lemon hop bitterness appears at the end and leaves a very nice after taste. Very good mouthfeel thick and with a great pepperyness Another good drinkable European beer this damp Oregon January day!

Threw this in to a mixed 6 pack.
I think Klaster refers to a monastery and they have a cartoonish picture of an apparently drunken, red faced monk on the label!
(If I had a camera I'd post it).
Nice deep gold color with a beige head. Not the piss yellow thing we Americans call pilsner.
Aroma definitely has some nice floral hops but an odd cabbage or metallic smell came with it.
The taste really balances malt and hopw well. easy finish and drinkability made this a surprisingly likeable brew when I'd thought it was an odd novelty from the 'cover'.
I will find some of their other brews and consult my son who lives in Macedonia and often gets Czech brews.

Has a nice color of dark straw and a light nose but the flavor explodes nicely and the finish is pure and long. A very good beer well balanced beer. Floral sweet nose, with hints of honey. A gold lager with a pilsner malt fragrance, a little hop bouquet, faint bread aroma, nice malt flavor, a hop bite is evident on the tongue, some cereal flavor, somewhat creamy brew. I like it.

Pours golden with a white head that leaves some trailing lace.
The smell is grainy with a touch of sulfur, almost metallic, sharp Saaz grassy notes.
The taste is grainy and grassy - sharp Czech Saaz notes. Crisp, dry finish.
This is a very nice traditional Czech pils - very good example of the style.
