As a beer store, THE BEST! From New Glarus, Black Husky, Valkyrie, 3 Sheeps, to Surly, Founders and more they have it all.

As an Italian Marcato, better than any in Chicago!

how these guys get so much beer into such a small space is hard to believe but there is literally tons of beer. The guys at the store were very knowledgeable and had some beers set aside for me since I was coming from out of town. Cleaned off one of the shelves and they even had more beer Somewhere else to restock which I which is hard to believe. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stock up on Wisconsin beers. Btw. Great selection of new glarus products

This is my first time posting on BA and I felt obligated because I travel for a living and use BA to find local beers all the time. BA led me to Tenuta's and I was so pleased with the outcome that I will begin passing on my experiences with everyone else. I'm from Cali and cannot get New Glarus. After I called Tenuta's and talked to Kyle, he said no prob, we have ton's. After I got there, I was a kid in a candy store. the isle of beer is so long it almost goes to a vanishing point. Kyle came out and hooked me up! after BS'ing craft beer for awhile, he helped me decide which New Glarus would be the best to pack back to Cali, hooked me up with a 4-pack of the wild sour ale (his own stash from the back), and took my info for shipping the New Glarus special sours later down the road. the trip was very successful and they also had a ton of selections from all over. Thanks Tenuta's and BA!

My wife and I go to Tenuta's quite often since we live about twenty minutes away. We spend about thirty dollars there every time we go but it is so well worth it. The staff is very friendly and if you want to try a taste of something they will let you. We will def keep going as much as we can.

What an amazing place. Can't believe I've never stopped in here. The place is 50% Italian market 50% alcohol. My wife and I were simply amazed at the amount of shelves that contained booze. An entire isle from one of the store to the other filled from top to bottom with beer. All the newest seasonal were on the shelves. Every brewery from Wisconsin was well represented along with tons of American craft and a solid import section.

The food from this place is top notch. I've had many dishes prepared with their authentic ingredients.

Service was non existent but I wasn't looking for any. Prices were reasonable. Not really my neck of the woods but if I'm in the area I will be stopping in.

IF you don't like chaotic cramped places, you might not enjoy Tenuta's. If you do, or if you like broad selection and reasonable prices, and can manage the close and overwhelming atmosphere, you'll dig it.

Personally I love this kind of place.

I'm not sure who buys their beer, but the guy I spoke to wasn't a beer snob. Is there a snobby term for beer snob, like oenophile is for wines? Anyway, he knew what they had in stock, but wasn't in any position to make recommendations or discuss the qualities of any of the beers.

The selection of WI beers is, as expected, pretty good. Otherwise the selection was in the Binny's range (for F.I.S.H like myself).

Drove up in the morning after our stay in Chi town, while on our beercation.
This is quite the place. A hot lunch window outside offers sandwiches and drinks. Inside is a full deli with all the classic Italian dishs. We tried some canolis, biscotti, 4 year old cheddar and sharp provolone. It was all so tasty.

Now the wine was plentyfull and the manager who helped me was great. We bought a nice red from Oregon. The beer isle was well stocked with about half bmc and half craft beer in the coolers. A smaller section dedicated to bombers and a good amount to sixes and 12 packs. We picked up a few NG bombers and a few local sixes to round out our fun shopping trip here. Thank you Kyle for your help. We'll be back if we're ever in the area.

I'll start off by saying that Tenuta's is my local favorite store. The deli is fantastic, the beer is fantastic, being close to home is just a bonus!

The beer manger is a great guy who knows his customers and is nearly always ready and willing to find something, answer questions, or just shoot the breeze about beers.

The beer selection is enough for me to keep going back, but you have got to see the world selection of wines and cheeses, the deli is nothing short of authentic Italian and amazing. Oh, and make your way to the back right corner of the store to see the wall of Olive Oil...What else says Italian like hundreds of bottles of Olive oil?

Outstanding selection, fair prices, good place. Bottom line.

This is a family business and you can feel the warmth and soul of the place.

One visit and you'll be a fan.

My wife and I spent a weekend in Kenosha and wanted to grab some craft beer. She asked her cousin, who is a local, and he said that Tenuta's is literally the only decent place to grab a good brew.

So there we went! Let me tell you, I was impressed. This is a huge Italian deli/supermarket... their meats and cheeses are all amazing, and fairly priced. They also have a big wine section.

Their beer aisle is nothing to scoff at. They must have the biggest selection oif Wisconsin brews ever! Not only Sprecher, New Glarus and the classics but also Lakefront, Buffalo Water, Horny Goat, Tyranena and some other lesser-known breweries. Plus Capital Brewery, Gray Brewing, Stevens Point, Ale Asylum, Potosi, Minhas Brewing... when in Rome... drink local, right? :-)

I also spotted four- and six-packs and bombers of Stone, Dogfish, New Holland, Dark Horse, Sierra, Anchor, Bear Republic, New Belgium, Left Hand, Mendocino, Rogue, Lagunitas, Oskar Blues... Dogfish 90 and Dogfish Palo Santo were available. Nice! Also some Belgian imports. Oh, and Three Floyds!!

Best beer selection in miles and miles around!

Prices were fair, and service was nice overall (smiling faces). On my first visit there I got no beer help, but on the second trip an employee was ready to help me pick some beers.

Overall, if you live in Kenosha or vacation there and love beer, you ought to check it out. This really is the only place to get craft brews in the area. I'll go back!
