4 oz pour at tasting even from Can (Orange for the 2014 summer batch)

A- Coppery-red with nice light head
S- Big boquett of tropical fruits. Orange peels and mango
T- Apparently this is a blend of Azacca and Mosaic hops... I'll just call it tasty. Nice acidic hopiness, but still orange/citrus rind.
M- Pretty standard IPA mouthfeel

O- I'm not too impressed with Sun King's brews, but I really like this one. Very nicely done.

Received as an extra in a trade and poured into my Duvel tulip.

A - Pours a nice dark coppery golden orange hue that is on the clear side with a nice creamy two finger head that fades to a fat blanket.

S - Aromas of nice citrus, light malt sweetness. Definitely getting Mosaic hops, faintly earthy and spicy. Very light tropical notes. Pleasant.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, light tropical notes. The citrus is nice, good oranges and faint faint bitterness. Light earthy spicy hops, crisp and clean taste with a very light lingering finish.

M - Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, alcohol nonexistant. Nice and refreshing.

O - Overall this was a solid IPA offering from Sun King. They used a hop variety I'd never heard of before (Azteca), but yeah...tasty.

Got this from a coworker and he said he really loved it.

A - Beautiful amber color. Pretty clear with a fluffy white head and great lacing.

S - Pungent hop fragrance with lots of orange citrus fruit, pine, and some dankness. Some caramel but definitely second hat compared to the hops and there maybe a slight fruity ale-yeast character.

T - Great flavor with the strong orange hop character predominant with some grassy, dank, and pine notes in the middle. It could just be a trick of the mind with the orange can but it is truly the most "orange" flavor I've ever had in an IPA. The hop bitterness is also present but not in contention with the NW hops, really just a nice palate cleanser. There are also light malt and nice caramel character but is there after the hops.

M - Medium mouth-feel with moderate carbonation. Perfect IPA feel.

Overall, a great IPA. Like I said the tremendous orange hop character is awesome there is still the traditional more generic citrus fruit (aka. grapefruit) character but not as predominant on the tongue. The body and balance is great with the malt/caramel backbone. The bitterness makes it more crisp on the back of the mouth making it a great beer.

Glass- Imperial Nonic pint
