Thrown in as an extra in a trade, thanks for the sweet can
A: Poured into a new belgium globe glass (glass I had used on the previous beer). A nice cloudy amber with nice size white head that stays and leaves some nice lacing. Definitely an appealing pour
S: Fantastic aroma. Not sure what hops are in this beer, but the aroma agrees with me. Just a nice hop presence.
T: Perhaps I served this a bit too cold as the taste is a bit bland. A pleasant mouthfeel and a well balanced taste. I guess I wish it was a bit unbalanced with a bit more hop bitterness
D: A nice canned beer. If it was my local choice I'd probably pick up for camping, but I'd put some other canned pale ales ahead of it. The taste did improve as it warmed, but not enough to really change the scores. Definitely find it intriguing enough to seek out their other canned beers. As this was the first I have heard of Sun King Brewery

This is a pretty nice beer. I love the sixteen ounce cans. Very interesting artwork. We can now get this in Denver pretty regularly. Can dated March 5th, so pretty fresh for coming from the Midwest. Perfect beer for mowing the lawn. Not overly hopped as some of the American Pale Ales tend to be these days.
