Brilliant clarity on this one. Nice amber hue. Nose is a mix of malts and hops. Not overly boisterous on the hops. Kind of an earthy thing with a grassy and a slight vegetal character going on. Much more malty than I would have anticipated. Easy to drink for sure. The carbonation is very aggressive though, which really doesn't work for me. I bet this would be good off a cask. The beer is nice overall, but I don't think I would ever return to it if I had the opportunity.

World-class pale ale. On par with FFF Alpha King. Here goes:

A: Beautiful clear orange with a one-inch head and lacing. Very well-carbonated, too.

S: Really kick you - quite powerful for a pale ale. Lots of fruit - lemon, orange peel, flowers, and herbs. However, there's also a fair amount of pine. Very interesting mix of floral and piney flavors.

T: Follows the nose, which is great. Lots of floral flavors. Some malt in the background, but let's face it: This is a hopfest.

F: Superbly crisp.

O: Exquisite beer.

The smell hits you immediately as you pour from the can. Bright, citrusy, oily. Taste is true to the smell, but I bit lighter, which I think is true to the style. Incredibly drinkable and refreshing. A great beer made to be sessionable in a world oversaturated with IIPAs and "session IPAs"

Filled a growler in Indy. Extremely light looking beer. Clear, yellow, and filtered. Great smell, one that lets you down when you drink it. A regular amount of piney/earthy hops in the taste. No head sticks around whatsoever. Just a bottom shelf APA.

Look is pretty normal for the style with great head retention. Smell is where this beer has always lacked in my opinion. Taste is a bit light up front with herbal and light fruity hops. Grassy/malty. Carbonation on the back is excellent. I think from the lack of great nose in the beer, the prickly carbonation and great flavor profile is something that reminds me every time I see it on the shelf. I pretty much know I won't go wrong if I can't make up my mind with all the other choice out there. If you want a tasty Pale Ale that's not too overpowering and gets the job done, this is it.
