From a can!
Tremendous amount of medum chocolate flavor here along with a moderate contribution from the bourbon barrel. Smooth with appropriate light carbonation.
Nearly too sweet but should work great as a dessert beer or aftermeal sipper.

16oz aluminum can purchased at the brewery prior to DLD.
A - Pours a medium mahogany brown, small tan head that sticks around for a little bit. Minimal lacing.
S - Hmmm. Something is out of place. I get Werther's Originals butterscotch and a whiff of lactic tartness. There may be some bourbon in there, but it's hard to get over everthing else.
T - Yupp. This beer is infected. 100%. Strong butterscotch sweetness (diacetyl) clashes with the overpowering funk/green apple tartness that dominates the finish. No bourbon to speak of. Not good.
M - Medium body. Smooth. Just impossible to get past the infection.
O - At this stage, a poorly made beer that is made worse by the infection. We had tried a can when we first purchased them, and while there was no infection, there was still a strong butterscotch/diacetyl presence. Sadly, this beer has gone completely downhill from there due to the infection. Highly disappointed by this effort from Sun King.
