I wanted to add this beer since its such a fun example of the craziness going on at Fremont. Good crazy, I should add. The citrusy nose is a wake-up call. Murky, leafy, bitter hops followed by vast spicy aromatics.
The lemon flavor is delirious and rich. The sweet malt plus the big hops makes for a remarkable mouthful of flavors. Hot and sharp. The alcohol taste seems emphasized, but overall this is acidic in a nice way, surprisingly drinkable, and thoroughly fascinating.
The only downside is this is kind of warm and flat in the glass. I can't see the point of having this on cask. But bottle it! Please bottle it! On tap at the brewery tasting room in Fremont.
