Mistook this for a IPA and it is the first APA I have (knowingly) had since I started rating beers. Taste like a good IPA Light to me. Mic smell right off the bat, has a much better after taste than a below average IPA. Think it would be a great lunch beer if you have to go back to work. A nice brew for a hot Texas day.

Poured into a Fremont Brewing pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head that dissipates in a few minutes to a thick film, leaving lots of lacing. Aroma of sweet biscuit malt, citrus and faintly piney hops, light citrus fruit. Flavor is light biscuit malt, mild citrus hops with a mildly toasty biscuit finish with light grain. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A pleasant, but understated pale ale that seems unusually tame for a beer from Fremont. The mellow flavor makes this a fine accompaniment to food. Nice but underwhelming.
