Medium sized biscuity and slightly off white head slowly dies into a nice lacing above a clear honey golden colored beer.

A light aroma consisting mostly of citrus and pine aroma hops with a little bit of lightly roasted caramel malts sneaking in.

A light sweet taste mixes with some of the light citrus and pine hops taste with some added very light yeast aspects sneaking along.

An almost dryish aftertaste with some of the sweet malt tastes hanging around with this medium bodied beer.

This beers taste is a light on the lighter side, I kind of wish it had more of these same tastes present but in abundance.

Had on tap at Greenlake bar and Grill.

A: The beer was a clear golden color with a foamy white head on top, about 1.5 fingers in height, rather thick though. Great head retention lasting for at least half the time it took the drink the beer with nice lacing formation.

S: Some light citrus fruits and a little bit of pine as well, slightly earthy. Faint grainy malt fills in as well.

T: Grainy malt upfront with a bit more citrus than pine throughout the flavor profile coming through as lemon and orange with a bit of grass.

M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.

O: A fine APA, a little on the weak side for my taste, but overall ok. Would prefer to drink interurban IPA.

22oz bottle, from the brewery

appearance: fairly dark amber body for the style, light beige film with good retention

smell: some dry grain, light red-skinned apple, light citrus

taste: ratings seems to suggest this to be an offensive APA, which I dont find to be the case at all. It's a little bland with faded notes of citrus hops and sweet fruits. Grain and dry malt provide an honest backdrop with a grassy/herbal finish from the hops. I'll likely reach for the Fremont IPA more often, but this pale ale worked well on this evening.

mouthfeel: medium-light, tea-like, light bitterness

overall: good, bland but good

Appearance: very Clear. Light in color. Almost Coors light'ish I'm color.

Smell: faint coriander and orange.

Taste: light malt character. Not bitter, but hop taste is a citrus, good flavor.

Mouthfeel: Slightly overcarbonated. Light malt and balanced well with the hop profile. Not over the top.

Overall: this is a pleasant Pale Ale. A little over carbonated, but not so much that it is a huge issue. Pretty good beer. But, the IPA from Freemont is much better.

Poured into a Fremont Brewing pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head that dissipates in a few minutes to a thick film, leaving lots of lacing. Aroma of sweet biscuit malt, citrus and faintly piney hops, light citrus fruit. Flavor is light biscuit malt, mild citrus hops with a mildly toasty biscuit finish with light grain. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A pleasant, but understated pale ale that seems unusually tame for a beer from Fremont. The mellow flavor makes this a fine accompaniment to food. Nice but underwhelming.

Thank you for this bonus can, SatlyMalty. Poured into a 3floyds tapered glass. No freshness date but there's a sticker on it from the liquor store that says 2/12/2013.

A- A perfect pour into the glass produces a plateau of head about 3/4 of an inch high that retains wonderfully before slowly decomposing to a thick ring around the edge of the glass . Somewhat resilient lacing leaves stalactites behind.

S- Light tinge of hops that are piney and citrusy. Some cracker-like malt with a trace of sulfur.

T- Tangy, almost metallic hop bite clamps down pretty hard for an APA. It's grassy, a bit tart, juicy and almost salty. Very vibrant, super enjoyable. Not a whole lot of malt character to balance, but that's OK since the hops are doing just a fine job on their own.

M- Bright and snappy with plenty of bite from the hops. Medium carbonation and a lightish body.

O- Although it drinks almost like an IPA, this is one killer Pale Ale that's sessionable and flavorful.
