Pours a lovely shade of amber in the wine tumbler. Nice bubbles and lacing. Substantial body but crisp and tangy. A touch of mango and dried pineapple along with the bitter pine. Inviting sudsy mouthfeel.
A honey-flavored resiny hop flavor with just the right amount of bitterness. A mellow hoppy quaff that provides a nice balance of malt and hops, just enough sweetness and that crisp mouthfeel. The aftertaste does get rather bitter, but there's another sip with the sweet malt to start. Pleasant fruitiness seems to intensify with the sipping.
Brewer says this is made with Chinook, Centennial, and Amarillo hops. One of the better Northwest IPAs I've had this year. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Wine World and Spirits in north Seattle.

On tap at Bigfoot, Seattle airport.
Into a pint glass.
A: light hazy yellow somewhat golden color; light carbonation is seen rising, half fingered white foamy head slowly dies and leaves a decent amount of clingy lacing
S: light bitter hops - somewhat citrusy yet smooth; malts do present themselves fairly well
T: bittersweet througth the malts and hops, combined nicely, light malty sweet citrusy aftertastek quick dry finish
M: light to medium on the body, somewhat sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and for me
O: good AIPA that I would have again
Serving type: on-tap
