The beer is transparent and golden hued with a half inch of sticky, white head. The aroma brings hops, pine, resin. Clean and refreshing. Smooth on the palate, despite a healthy amount of hop biterness. Hop forward, but certainly not a hop bomb. Nicely balanced, with some bready malts in a supporting role. Light bodied with minimal alcohol presence and appropriate carbonation. Overall, this was solid.

12 oz can, thanks Rich.

Pours a hazed, yet clear golden copper with a dense off white head that fades to a thin layer and plenty of lace. Nose of orange, lemon, biscuit, and grass. Medium thick body, moderate carbonation, a leafy and chalky finish. Leafy hops in flavor with a little citrus sweetness, but not much bitterness

Thanks to jmgrub for sharing this one at mhksuccess' tasting.

Pours a hazy gold with a foamy beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest. Taste is much the same with some herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

Poured from a bomber into a pint glass in high elevation Libby, Mont. No best-by date. Reviewed live.

A- Two and a half finger head, brimming out of the glass. Long retention. Impressive white lacing. Orange-amber color with medium clarity. Attractive looking beer.

S- Pine and citrusy hops. Chinook maybe. The bottle says Amarillo is also there. I get a whiff of that, but the northwest hops are stronger. Buttery and floral. Interesting smell. Appealing, but not terribly.

T- Bitter and smooth flavor. Earthy and piney northwest hops. Creamy sort of flavor, maybe from the earthy malts and Amarillo hops. Above average.

M- Creamy, fairly wet finish. Sticky, but not overly sugared. Nice feel.

O- Above average IPA, great look, just slightly above average in other categories.

22oz bomber served in pint glass. Beer pours a pale straw color with a thick off-white head. Beer is crystal clear though some sediment remains in the bottle. Extremely floral and pleasant hop aroma on this one.

The beer itself is a hop-heavy and malt-light, brining across the classic West coast IPA onslaught of IBUs. Actually the hop load is stronger in the beta acid load than alpha, but this only accentuates the "hi, would you like a glass of hops?" effect. This beer is seriously resiny and it shows in the lacing. There's just barely enough pale malt to balance it out, and even then probably not enough for all -- this is an IPA lover's IPA.
