Well here goes attempt umber three. Puppy spills and randomly deleting when I go to change songs is always fun.
Pours a relatively clear and crisp very light amber. Pillowtop head is whiteand fluffy. Decent retention, good lacing.
Nose is big juicy spicy fruits and citrus. Resinous. Yum. A bit of grainy malts come through on some level as well.
Taste follows suit pretty nicely, maybe a little sweeter on the tongue, somewhere between honey and floral/fruity. A bit of hop spice and dull bitterness on the finish alternating with that sweet note.
Supremely drinkable, the finish is soft enough to not be overwhelming, but just bitter enough to leave you wanting another sip.
Another fantastic offering from one of my favourite breweries, local or otherwise.

10/22/2014. 22 oz bottle purchased at Bottleworks, poured into an ale glass. Pours with two fingers of head, which is thick, mottled and cream-colored. Tons and tons of lace up the sides of the glass. Golden pale hue, clear with a few bubbles streaming from bottom of glass. Aroma is piney, resin, passionfruit, a little grass. Starts bitter, but then proceeds with a wonderful sweetness, but not overly so. Very clean and smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonate, looooong finish. I await this beer each fall, and was not disappointed this year. Really one of the best fresh hopped beers out there!
