An IPA brewed with the Buddha's Hand fruit.
A: The beer pours a murky golden yellow/brown color. It's almost like unfiltered apple ciders with some grayish color in it. I know that sounds odd, but the best way I can describe it. There is a very small head of white foam on top with extremely light lacing.
S: There is a very fragrant perfume aroma to the beer, more than likely from the Buddha's hand fruit. Toasted coriander and honey linger in the background with just a hint of citrus hops.
T: There is a light acidic citrus flavor that is imparted from the Buddha's hand and hops as well some pepper and honey that help balance out the more intense flavors.
M: As it's a cask beer, the carbonation is very minimal and the beer has a light mouthfeel. As it warms up the alcohol becomes more prominent.
O: I've seen the Buddha's hand at Whole Foods before, but never really knew what it was. It's an interesting experiment from Fremont, hopefully one we see again.
