I had this on-tap in a pint glass at Bottleworks in Seattle.

Appearance: clear, pale yellow-orange hue with a thin layer of white foam. Not too bad.

Smell: dank and citrusy hops. Smooth and appealing, although not super complex.

Taste: nice and dank hops with a big sweetness and moderately strong bitterness. Good if you like sweeter IPAs.

Mouthfeel: medium rich body with a smooth carbonation and a great creaminess. Delectable!

Overall: very drinkable despite its sweetness. I rather like it.

A: Poured a nice, clear orangish color with good carbonation leaving a nice fizzy white head. Decent head retention leaves a few small circles of lacing

S: Mainly grassiness and a citrus fruit basket

T: An intial grassy notes which is sordove the hop bill base. It shares duties with a nice lemon peel and orange zest flavor. A light sordove toasted bread backbone here but very light malt base. The finish is pretty clean cut. No slickness, no big hop bitterness, light, very light booze

M: Light-medium body here. Well carbonated, pretty refreshing and easy to drink.

O: A nice single IPA by Fremont.

on-tap, bottleworks.

"Brewed as the house IPA for Brouwer’s, Burgundian, and Bottleworks. At 5.5%, this is a classic NW IPA daily-drinker. Year-round availability at the "3 B’s". Features Centennial, Super Galena, Calypso and Simcoe hops. Draught only for the time being. Trifecta IPA will be the house IPA for the three locations and available year-round."

I made the mistake of sampling this beer previously while I was drinking a Boneyard Notorious...In a different stand-alone setting, I was pleasantly surprised by this. Nice clean fremont hop-profile, citrus, grass, lemon peel, toasted malt. Just a solid easy-drinking every day IPA.
