22oz bottle at 41 F poured into two big snifters. No bottle code or date that I know of. Coming off a ten day trip to Japan with few opportunities for beer beyond Kirin or Asahi, so maybe some bias...
Pours black, with a smallish dark tan head. Lots of fine, slow carbonation. Smell is richly chocolatey, very nutty.
Taste is super nutty and very chocolatey. The chocolate seems surprisingly strong. I like it.
Mouthfeel is dry and gritty. Overall, very good.

On Nitro at the Brewpub on 3.25.13
A - Served a Dark brown with a silky cap of light tan nitro head that just sits there.
S - Smell is dominated by the hazelnuts and a bit of roasted malt and dark chocolate.
T - Again lots of hazelnut, but more of the roasted malt, oatmeal, and pepper come through. Very tasty, almost like a dessert in a glass.
D - Silky smooth body due to the nitro and a thick heavy body.
O - I am not usually a fan of these infused, additional item, etc. nitro taps, but this one really worked.
