Yes, it's a warehouse, but it's friendly and beer-centric. Kids and dogs are allowed. The only food served there is a large bowl of self-serve pretzels. You're allowed to bring your own food. You're allowed to buy or fill a growler and drink it on site, which is pretty surprising and nice.

There's limited table seating, although they have one fairly good sized German-beer-hall-style table with benches (long, intended to be shared by strangers). It can get fairly crowded, and I've only seen one guy serving there -- no table service, just line up at the bar. But, it goes pretty quickly and they'll hold onto your growler until you're ready to go.

Growlers are $8 to fill, more to buy but I can't remember how much. Most of their beers are $4 or $5 for a glass, and some of them are excellent (some of them are not). They made a beer for Brouwer's, I think they called it V5, which was terrific. They also made a nitro cranberry ale which was distinctly lackluster.

They have six taps and a cask, the taps seem to rotate through their selection fairly quickly.

They don't have much in the way of decorations, but you're basically sitting right in the brewing facility, which gives you plenty to look at.

Visited on a Wednesday during the lunch hour. Parking was still insane. We parked in the growler pickup lane and asked nicely if we could stay and have a quick flight. They said yes.
I can't imagine how crazy this beer landmark is on weekends (and where people might actually park). But we hit it at a very low ebb and enjoyed a flight. Both servers were very nice and helpful with selections. The Dark Star Oatmeal Stout was a winner and we took 2 bombers with us (only $4.99 ea.).
Freemont Brewing is an oasis in a very busy, funky neighborhood. Plenty of places to sit, lots more outside. Lots of cold beer to purchase.
Don't forget to visit The Troll when you leave. It's a huge sculpture underneath the bridge just 4 blocks up the street.

I think I'd rather have visited this place in the winter. I enjoy Fremont's beers in general but nothing compares to their big imperial stouts and such.

When I went the taplist was hop-heavy and I find these beers good but not mind-boggling. I liked the benches in the taproom and and cold brew coffee available on tap and could see the patio being nice on sunny days.

I'd be here everyday that B-Bomb or a Dark Star variant was on though. Those are so damn good.

It's a good thing this place didn't exist when I lived a few blocks up the street from this location, because I would have spent a ton of time and $ here.

Very cool vibe, it was kind miserable outside, so we crammed in with everyone else. I could see this being an awesome place to have a beer outside on a summer day.

Quality is top notch. Based on what I've tasted, I think Fremont is putting out the best beer in Seattle. Selection was great too, they had over 12 beers with a nice variety of styles.

Service was fine, nothing memorable. But they were pleasant and pretty fast considering the crowd.

Overall, top notch. One of the best destinations in the whole city.

Really cool spot right by Gasworks Park. Great beers and free pretzels. Solid beer lineup with some weird ones thrown in
