As this came off the truck today into my store, my rep told me about this little brewery and that all we could get was bottles for now as the few select kegs were slanted to go on tap in NYC.
My sample poured well with a creamy head that gave a off a floral aroma of hops in a dark golden body. I marveled at the champagne bubbles in my glass as I went for the first taste.
Instantly, I noted the floral and fruits of the hops while the medium to light body flexed like a Persian carpet being tested for its color qualities. I loved the soft water taste of the beer as I easily consumed it .
While it reminded me of some of the more famous IPA's of late, the ale had an an unusual power of staying on target with its taste all the way through. It was a grand beer that I should make more notes about as I will be looking for more.

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.
Poured a hazy light brass hue with a half finger white cap. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a blend of herbal and piney hops with a round malty aroma.
The taste featured clean piney hops atop a based of round pale malts.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a superior APA.
