Thanks to Nate-Dogg for bringing this back from our home state. Maine-ah at heart, but first time slinging back a MBC offering.
Straw yellow-golden color. Fresh mowed grass on the nose, with some old, yeasty bread in there too. Someone else mentioned a biscuity flavor to it, and I totally buy it.
Here's what I love: plenty of hops on the tongue, but it never, ever overpowers the rest of the palate; great carbonation for a pale ale (medium-high). A tiny bit of spice on the finish that makes the finish dry without leaving a vacuum.
Pale Ales in general? A lot of them can be kinda boring if you ask me. Not this one - lots of bold flavors combined with a balanced mouthfeel makes this one a sessionable brew with plenty to chew on.

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.
Poured a hazy light brass hue with a half finger white cap. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a blend of herbal and piney hops with a round malty aroma.
The taste featured clean piney hops atop a based of round pale malts.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a superior APA.
