Gorgeous hazy golden hue with a big sticky and fluffy bright white head. Nose is amazing even before I pour it into the glass. Fresh squeezed orange juice with a touch of other citrus fruits; lemons and grapefruit. Faint touches of hop resin and crackers.
Citrus fruit forward flavors. One of the few beers that's able to get orange out of it's hop profile. Grapefruit backs the orange flavor up and is balanced on the mid-palate with a lightly toasted bread flavor. The bread and cracker like malt flavors balances the hop assertiveness of the brew. Spicy yeast snap on the finish with a balancing bitterness. Incredibly smooth and refreshing. The bottle conditioning adds texture to the light body and feels fluffy in the mouth. Big on flavor with incredible drinkability. Proof that not all pale ales are the same. (You can add more of a yeasty breadiness to the flavor of the beer by swirling the remaining yeast at the bottome of the bottle into your glass)
simply put, amazing.

Pours a clear straw with over two fluffy fingers of head that retained for a long period of time and left decent lacing behind. This baby is one live beer!
The nose is very hoppy for the style. The hop bitterness is evident in the flavor as well, but it does not taste as potent as the nose would indicate. The taste is lighter and dryer than most high-level APAs; this is more akin to the sub-style generally known as a “session” IPA than a classic APA. I’d definitely prefer to drink this in the baking heat of the summer than in the waning days of winter.
