Just a few notes to begin with. The bottle doesn't say the style of beer so I'm going strictly off of what BA says as an initial reference. The bottle says the beer was made 8 days ago based on the "born on date."
A: The body is a hazy light golden straw color with a fluffy white head. Good head retention and pretty good lacing. The bottle says it's bottle conditioned so haze is expected.
S: I get a nice citrus grapefruit scent. I don't pick up anything else.
T: There's a nice medium bitterness followed by grapefruit rind flavor. There is a hint of bread flavor in the aftertaste but not much malt flavor.
M: It is a pretty clean finishing beer but doesn't finish completely dry. It has a good level of carbonation. This is easy to drink.
O: This is a more hop-forward APA that focuses more on citrus flavors, from what I perceived. The beer shows restraint and is not overly bitter. I would drink it again but it's not something I'd rush out to get.
