A:
Cloudy powdery golden yellow with three fingers of thick white head that soon is a fat film. Decent retention; lots of sticky lacing. (4)

S:
Bready, fruity hops. Cereal, grain, lemon zest, soap, herbal. (4)

T:
Substantial with a hoppy bite. Lemon, tea, grains, dirt, dough, pepper, grass. (4.25)

M:
Medium bodied with a really full feel to it, lingering hop tingle with a soft bready finish. (4)

O:
Very good Pale Ale.
I have never had anything by MBC and so I was anxious to try this one. Can't say as though I was disappointed.
This beers pours pretty nice and maintains a decent head throughout. The taste is earthy and still hoppy but as it warms a lot more pepper and pineyness comes out, it eventually starts smelling really herbal and interesting. A smell I would liken to a hippie's house.
All-in-all it is a pretty enjoyable, pretty drinkable beer. Really well-made.
Would definitely have again, makes me really curious about their other stuff; well wroth trying. (4.25)
