16 oz bottle ($6.79) from RSVP in Portland. Bottled 7/2, drank 7/6... drinking local when local is this good is a real pleasure.

A: Tawny for an APA, but exceptionally promising head retention and, eventually, lacing.

S: Extremely fresh-smelling. Grassy, as some have mentioned, but also very citrusy. That characteristic MBC hop profile is completely evident: pineapple, grapefruit, maybe some orange.

T: The citrus character isn't as bright as it is in MO/Lunch, but Peeper's character lies elsewhere. Just a touch of citrus and earth, with an unbelievably dry, pine-forward finish.

M: Exceptionally dry; easily the driest APA around, and one of the drier American beers, period. Quite light... so kind of a gulper.

O: Not quite the citrus thriller that MO is, but Peeper is a totally different beer, and a pretty flawless one. It's refined, ungodly drinkable, and interesting from the first sip until the last. With an unlimited budget, this is the ideal summer beer, and right up there with the best APAs available today.

from a bottle to a tulip glass

A- pours a hazy yellow with hints of orange all throughout, huge pillowy white head nice lacing all around

S- Nice grassy notes up front, hints of lemon, tangerine, oranges, slight grapefruity notes, nice pungent hops all over

T- more hops all over the taste, hop juice, lemon, grapefruit, lots of tropical fruitiness, just very well put together hop choices that work very well together

M- nice and light, smooth, bitter

O- great hoppy beer lots of well put together hop flavors, easy to drink, enjoyed this one alot
