Bottle from Sammy, 500ml into a tulip. Bottled July 10, 2012.

Golden orange with a voluminous white head - great density to it, with solid retention and lace. Fruity nose, some mango and lighter fleshed fruits. Some pine and a gentle spiciness. Similar on the palate, some tropical notes, moderate to high bitterness, sweet gentle caramelized flavours over pale malts. Light pine/cedar flavours, similar to what I get from a Red Racer IPA. Lighter medium body, low carbonation. Super drinkable, and while pretty simple all around, this is something I'd drink indefinitely.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Golden amber in color with good carbonation, a thick white head that last a long time.

Smell: Citrus like orange, grapefruit, some pine and maybe an apple like smell, very sweet smelling beer.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Watery smooth feel to it, what a well balanced beer, with light flavors of sweet citrusy hops, pepper, and fruit like quailities. It was watered down, but in a way that added an incredible unique taste, and it is a fresh spring water taste.

Overall: Wow did not expect this beer to be that good! What an refreashing earthy beer. The price was just right too. Noticed that many people were paying up around $7-10, the beverage places I have been it had been priced around $4-5, I paid $5 for mine.

On tap at Trie Rittenhouse Philly on 7/9/12, served in a tulip flute.

Pour: Cloudy straw orange yellow with two fingers white head. Great lacing.

Smell: Bright orange citrus, and grapefruit, Slightest resinous pine.

Taste: Citrus, lemon, grapefruit bitterness. A light caramel backbone, but only just.

Mouthfeel: Light and crisp, but without sacrificing the juicy hops. Really the perfect warm weather pale ale.

Overall: Delicious, a very very sessionable.

This beer poured out as a golden color until the sediment came out of the bottle. Then the beer changed to more of a grayish color. The head was white and leaves a thin film over top of the beer. The smell of the beer had some malty aromas and some hops. The taste of the beer gives off the flavors of lemon upfront and finishes with a malt base. The mouthfeel of the beer is smooth and a decent carbonation. Overall this beer wasn't as impressive as I expected it to be. It was good but not great in my opinion.
