American IPA |  7.00% ABV

Availability: Rotating

Notes/Commercial Description:
Our “East Coast” version of a West Coast-style IPA. Intense hop flavors and aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and pine dominate. A subtle malt sweetness brings the beer into balance.

A- cloudy orange liquid. No carbonation visible. Frothy white head. Sticky lace everywhere. Persistent head.
S- blast of citrus, than dank and piney hops, sweet with a hint of caramel.

T- initially tastes like the session ipas going around... Light but bursting with resinous hops... The citrus is gone. More of an earthy hop taste. Some lingering sweet caramel.

M- lighter than I like. Thin mouthfeel like session ipas. Fierce bitterness that lingers and bites.

O great nose, good flavor. But the price and the thinness make it closer to a 4 than a 5.

Pours golden in color with a deep haze and a good one finger white fluffy head.

Smell is hop forward with juicy citrus aromas of orange and grapefruit along with a very faint floral aroma. Caramel malt adds a nice backbone and mild sweet aroma .

Taste follows the nose with lots of hoppy oils and resin giving a somewhat herbal grassy flavor forward with a moderate piney bitterness. Caramel malt adds a good sweet balance, bit the resin and oils persist well into the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel has moderate carbonation a medium to thin body balanced with loads of sticky hop oils and resin.
