Appearance upon pouring is dark orange or maybe light brown. Head was relatively thick on this pour. Good lacing.
Smell was a mix of citrus and green. Some pine and a little malt as well.
Taste is s very nice blend of pine, bitter citrus and a small amount of sweet from the malt. Well balanced and had a nice finish. Al little fruitiness comes through as well(besides the citrus). Mouth feel is about middle of the road for body. Some nice depth.
Overall another excellent beer from Maine Brewing. I have liked every one of there beers I have had. Well balanced with some nice pine and citrus notes. Great all around.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a dark brown, nearly black color with a one finger head of a thick creamy head of an off white color. The head fades rather quickly leaving a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is big of tropical fruit smell of tangerine, pineapple, and papaya mixed with a nice aroma of a ruby red grapefruit. Along with the grapefruit are aromas of a pine and slightly grassy smell.
Taste – The taste begins a much drier than anticipated flavor with some slightly bready and crackery flavors mixed with a moderately strong grapefruit hop. As the taste advances, the grapefruit remains at a relatively constant level with the light level of sweetness that was present upfront (lighter tangerine and tropical fruit flavor) fading and being replaced by more hop flavors. The hop flavors that replace the sweet are a mix of a grassy and pine flavor, with the combination of flavors leaving a nice crisp somewhat drier blend of hop flavors to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is lighter side for a beer of 7 % abv with a carbonation level that was rather average. For the crisp feel of the brew, in conjunction with the drier flavors the slightly thinner body and moderate carbonation were quite nice as they made it quite refreshing and crisp all while not compromising the nice fruit and hop flavors of the brew.
Overall – A nice and tasty IPA that is a bit on the drier side but has a great flavor and drinkability. Quite nice.

A- Pours amber/orange with a large fluffy white head. Lots of fluffy lacing remains.
S- Pine, citrus, sweet malts. Slightly dank. Classic good IPA scent.
T- Very fruity. Orange, grapefruit and pine with a nicely balanced malty backbone. No alcohol taste to speak of really.
M- Medium body with decent carbonation. A great bitter aftertaste.
O- A wonderful IPA. Will have again when I can find it.
