When you spend $6 for a pint anticipating world class flavor, the bar is set high. MO pours a murky off orange color with a couple fingers of head,and decent lacing.
If you are expecting a traditional ale, the aroma immediately lets you know that it is much more: the tropical fruits are prominent like a hopped up quality IPA, and the flavors follow suit.
Overall a nicely balanced hop explosion on your palate.
Whether this fine ale would suit traditional ale drinkers is debatable, regardless it is worth a try for the taste experience alone, and lovers of hoppy IPAs should seek this one out for sure.
There is a certain delectable peach-mango flavor going on here.
Finding that many of the top ranked New England brews worth trying simply aren't available in a six pack, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth the price tag if the bottom line is quality.
