Served on draft at three rivers six pack. Pint glass. Pours clear dark grass yellow, hints of tangerine, a bit lighter than orange, mostly light, actually. Half-finger white head sticks around, lots of lacing on the glass.
Subtle floral citrus aromas, very sweet.
Flavor is way more intense, with a dry finish, very dry. Citrus hops most prominent, slight sweet taste, with a hint of cream. Definitely zesty.
Feel is also dry, but fresh, crisp and bitter on the end.
Overall, clean and crisp, pretty much what I expected, if a bit dry. Maine has a good setup, look forward to trying more in the future, cheers.

Appearance: Pours a hazy honey color with a massive head; great retention and multiple layers of lacing
Smell: Vaguely bitter aroma - more East Coast woodsy/earthy bitterness than citrusy
Taste: The malt base adds just a touch of sweetness but is pretty clean with the hops bringing good bitterness in the middle; some tropical fruit elements but they bitterness is more earhty and slightly grassy
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This bottle is a couple of months old and, from reading the other reviews, I suspect the hop profile on this one fades rather quickly; a very nice beer but I am not digging it like some others who conceivably had a fresher example

Pours into a standard pint a dull medium golden with a large blooming white head, maybe a little over carbonation issue.Juicy grapefruit in the nose with a little grassiness as well, not much malt profile just juicy hops.Maybe the best hop profile of any "standard" pale I have had flavor-wise,fresh grapefruit and grassy flavors with a dryer base making for just hoppy goodness.A tad sharp in the mouth but man this is just a hopped up flavor punch of an APA.Wow.
