Thanks eagles22 for gifting me with this. 500ml bottle poured into a tulip. The brew appears a hazy pale yellow color with a big billowing white cap. Fluffy retention leaving patchy lace as it fades.

The smell includes notes of herbs and pine with citrus zest, fruit and floral appeal to almost tropical aspects as it breathes. The taste is bitter and pine with a bit of wheat. Some sulfur and earthy yeast finish with grassiness across the finish.

This is a light bodied brew with modest level of carbonation. It is clean crisp and dry finishing brew. Quite nice and worth checking out. I appreciate the cleanliness of this brew and its simplicity but it doesnt carry any wow factor that would make me want to see it out again.

Bottle > Sensory Pilsner Glass

A - Clouded gold with a thick fluffy two finger marshmallow kinda head, Huge patches of lacing.
S - Amazing aroma, just like every other MBC beer. Big grape, fresh cut grass, perfectly ripe melon, lemon zest, very floral. The grape cant be overstated though.
T - This thing just takes off, loads of mixed grape flavors, bright vibrant floral and grassy notes all through it, cracker malt comes in mid through, just to give a taste, the malt is in the background in this beer, really lets the hops shine through. A little pine dankness, and some citrus zest. Super fresh tasting beer.
M - Perfect carbonation, extremely crisp and refreshing beer, no trace of the 7% by any means.
O - I personally think I like this better than Lunch. This thing is outrageous, such a bright floral and lush hop presence to this beer. MBC Does not disappoint.

Maine Beer Company round 2, entering this with lofty expectations after MO. Poured into an American pint glass, this is a cloudy dark yellow brew just grading into orange territory, with a milkshake-like creamy white head that retains form admirably. Quite light in appearance and this carries over onto the palate, where the malts are concerned. But the hops? Bold and flavorful all the way, with a tropical gummy nose of mango and papaya, along with citrus peel and slight green pine notes. Very fresh and vibrant. Taste also skews towards the tropical, but there is an assertive grapefruit/tangerine/lemon rind presence and some gooseberry and longan as well, with a smooth bitterness that builds to rather high levels, some faint onion, pepper, and pine accumulating and coupling with the malts to yield a pleasant toasted effect. Moderate body and oily smooth mouthfeel. Juicy but bitter. Finishes smoothly bitter and clean, a bit tangy and citric with minimal heat. Zoe and Weez, you are next. Fantastic brewery and with any luck we'll get the DIPA offerings here in Alberta as well.

It pours out in a hazy yellow gold color.

The aroma is just super hoppy and fresh. There’s floral, pineapple, tropical fruit, tons of sweet citrus. Its just a vibrant and big aroma.

The flavor follows on the aroma with not as much of a pronounced and obvious fruit. Clearly the Cirta is there with a light herbacious bitterness on the back.

The malt and tons of carbonation do this beer really well. I had this super fresh, only 2-3 weeks old and it really is a treat.

This is the beer to have, over Lunch. Hype goes to this one! This is a Citra bomb!

500ml bottle into 4 hands tulip glass
Appearance-Pours an absolutely gorgeous light golden body with a nice 2 finger foamy white head
Smell-huge pineapple and papaya notes at first than some tangerine and grapefruit
Taste-sweet papaya and tangy tangerine and bitter grapefruit at first than you get some grassy notes at the back end I cant taste any malt in this ipa it is just a straight up juicy IPA! there is some bitterness but not a lot at all just really juicy.
Mouthfeel- light to medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Very nice for an ipa

OVERALL- this beer really hits the spot and I think is one of MBC's best brews to date.. its either this or peeper for me
