Intensely hoppy American IPA, brewed as the light-colored counterpart to Weez (both beers incorporate the exact same kettle and dry hopping schedule). Another One has a very clean malt palate, leaving little but hoppy resins on the tongue, and finishes dry and crisp.

Picked up on a whim at Wegmans and it was a real great find. Excellent beer.

Does Maine Beer Company have any beers that suck? I argue the answer is no!
Color, smell, taste and feel are all great. Another superb beer from MBC, period

Where'd the beer go? After having this crisp, clean and refreshing beer from Maine Beer the beer seemed to disappear much faster than usual. Guess it's time for Another One.
Bright and brilliantly golden chrome upon its pour Another One quickly strikes the nose with the bright citrus and herbal perfume of classic IPA but with a juicier orange laden scent. After its dry froth settles, the first sip leans in with a malty-dry upfront taste decorated with granola and graham cracker.
The boldness of hops soon replace anything malty or sweet as soon as the ale washes over the middle palate. Radiant with tangerine and mango, the fruitiness seems dried and herbal. Trending more grapefruit-like, the session steers more classic with a piney bitterness and a lingering resinous bite.
Crisp, clean and highly refreshing, this is the kind of beer that's missing from today's hop-scape of IPA as its finishes briskly bitter with an arid aftertaste of peppery herb, and essence of pine and citrus peels the way God intended.

16.9oz bottle purchased from the fridge for $7.99. Bottled on 25JUL23, so this is exactly five weeks old.
Look: Pours a light golden color with a very faint haze. There was a thick, off-white head with compact to medium bubbles that slowly reduced to a very thin layer. Steady stream of tiny bubbles rising up the glass. Nice lacing. After swirling and pouring the bottom of the bottle, the beer became moderately hazy and developed a deeper orange color.
Smell: The nose is very nice: earthy pine, floral notes, stone fruit (peach and mango), and citrus (grapefruit and lemon). The nose is fruity but not juicy or sweet. Green bell pepper on the finish after swirling the glass.
Taste: Super delicious and highly drinkable. The mouth basically follows the nose. The beer has a relatively dry finish and there are some pithy, spicy, peppery, and herbal notes lingering on the palate.
Feel: I would describe this beer as having medium minus body; however, it still has a bit of chewiness and it does not taste light or watery at all. It has a fullness for its weight class.
Overall: I have been craving a beer all day and this is really hitting the spot. As I said above, it's really tasty and super drinkable. The beer is hoppy yet it is also very balanced. Maine Beer Company does it again with another great beer!
From the bottle/website:
When we expanded our brewery in 2013, the stress was something, to say the least. I ran out of creative juice for a minute so I decided to have another one for inspiration.
Flavor profile: Aromas of pineapple, mango, and guava with notes of orange, grapefruit, and melon. Undertones of earthy, woody pine, and faint onion and garlic.
Hops: Cascade, Citra, Simcoe
Malt: American 2-Row, Red Wheat, Carapils

Pours a pale yellow. Thick foam. Bright citrus aroma. Delicious hop resin body. Slightly sweet and fruity. Smooth malt finish. Well balanced. Terrific from start to finish. It's doesn't get much better than this.

On tap at the brewery. White head with lace. Clear yellow gold.
Really nice ipa. Very flavorful and done well. Nice stone fruit notes and a bit tropical. Floral and pine. Decent bitterness. Ends with some resin and stickiness in the finish.
Reminds me a little of 2H ale. Smooth and easy drinking.

L: Golden bodied with a moderate haze. 3 finger sudsy head.
S: Lemon, orange, pine
T: Pine resin and citrus pith with some herbal character
F: Clean, crisp, dry finish. Feels light bodied for the ABV, almost like a pale ale.
O: It’s always fun to try beers from MBC when my local store is carrying them. This one is very good, but not something I’d buy again (price, large format, better beers available that are easy to find).

Pours a very pale gold with a bit of haze and a towering rocky, white head. Soft citrus, tropical fruit, and clean piney hop aromatics. The sip reveals a soft bitterness and clean pithy and piney citrus hop flavors. A clean, dry, and breast malt backbone round things out. Overall, a very refreshing and minimalistic take on the style. What this beer lacks in complexity it makes up for in drink ability and craftsmanship. Great IPA.
