An unusual winter-beer inspired by the belgian strong amber ales. Amber in colour with a touch of white head. The aroma is malty and in the complex, sweet. In the mouth is very drinkable, the body is light. Malty and spiced. Go down in your stomach as the water on summer. So, when next year is november, get your Birra Di Natale stock and will be an happy xmas!

Picked this up at a local birraria in Genoa. Not what I would have normally expected from a Christmas ale, but nonetheless pretty tasty.

A - Halfway between copper and goldenrod colored body with a foamy ecru head. Tons of lacing bubbling up to the top at a nice pace.

T - Candy sugar and hops, medium roasted malt, spice profile is extremely restrained compared to most Belgian Christmas ales.

M - A tiny bit chewy, very bubbly and medium bodied.

D - I would almost venture that this is more drinkable than most Birri di Natale as it is lighter in terms of spices and body. Can be paired with almost any meal.
