Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours brownish red with a small off white head. Smells of nuts and dark roasted grain. Tastes of caramelized malt with slight fruitiness. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a slightly above average beer.

This is a british brown ale. It represents that style well with discernable hops & malt but neither is overwhelming.
Very drinkable especially for a beer up at 6%.

Mahogany in color with light tan head
Smells of nuts, coffee, maple, and bit of chocolate.
Very malt forward and roasty. Similar in taste to the smell with nuts and chocolate bring more dominant.
Really solid brown ale. Got this as part of Craft Beer Club. Can't wait to have more.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a murky dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer. The smell had a sticky nutty to caramel aroma with a decent toffee in the background. The taste was pretty much the same. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The aftertaste and finish are dry and nutty. The carbonation was slightly harsh but not overbearing. Overall, I say this was a pretty good brown ale that I would have again.

Poured into a small pint glass. Pours a medium to dark brown with red tint and a half finger khaki head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of mild toasted malt and milk chocolate. Flavor is lightly sweet dark toasted malt, milk chocolate and cocoa with a hint of nuts. Mildly flavored but nicely balanced with good a good brown ale profile. Nothing exciting, but pleasant to drink and good flavor.
