Pours out a full tan head that like the Rochefort 10 goes over the rim but does not spill over. Rick brown, almost garnet colors clouded by yeast particles. The head settles down to a thin lace around the glass but does not have great retention. I know this is not apart of it but this beer does have soda like sizzle to it from the carbonation.
The aroma is rich with ripe fruit, alcohol sweetness, wheat bread malt, and yeast.
The flavor is just as complex and the aroma. Ripe fruit, yeast, wheat bread, toasted malt, sweet alcohol, toffee, and a hint of coffee. Top it off with a dry slightly hopped finish with the toasted malt lingering for a bit as well as my buzz.
Medium slightly carbonated body, and easy to sit back a sip for while. Because overall this ale is full of flavor.
