Appearence: brown, lots and lots of head on this beer, really be careful pouring this beer, as the first one I pour quickly turned the glass half into foam. Thankfully it mostly subsided
Smell: has kind of a nutty oder, good but peculiar.
Taste: Good, though not much punch here, I can see from the other reviews for this beer that most people would disagree, but I would say that something is missing
Mouthfeel: slight aftertaste, but nothing out of control.
Drinkability: Good, this beer won't fill you up, though the residue that is left at the bottom might add up. If you can find it for cheap, then by all means indulge otherwise skip price tag and find another beer to drink

Pours a hazy deep brown with a foamy khaki head that dissipates somewhat quickly.
I can smell pears, raisins, and dates as soon as I open the bottle. Notes of green apple, figs, and prunes become evident, with a fairly sweet Belgian candi sugar sweetness at the base.
Flavor reveals sharp pear and bruised apple underlying a doughy, bready malt backbone. Rich and rummy, the burnt sugar malt sweetness supports complex prune and date notes well. The finish is fairly light and dry.
Body is moderate, but the high carbonation keeps it feeling light. Alcohol warmth is a bit high.
Great ester character is balanced nicely by the malt. The carbonation is higher than I'd like, and a phenolic alcohol character emerges as it warms. Wanted to like this more, but the carbonation killed it for me.
