Bought a bottle at Mo's in Fairfield, CT. Can't remember the date, but it was fresh and tasty.
A: Pours a beautiful hazy ruby/copper with ample bubbling. Three finger off white head settles to one finger over 5 mins, and leaves behind ample rings of lacing.
S: Strong. Boozy and herbal. Some basil, tea, and coriander. Hints of soap. Complex and nice.
T: Wow. Light fruit and sweet malt. Finishes all yeast with a mild bittnerness. Admittedly weak up front, originally quite sweet - lactose-like.
M: Clean yet foamy, crisp with perfect carbonation. Slightly resinous.
O: One of the best Belgians I've had to date, although I will willingly admit I'm just getting into the category. Complex and delicious, TR8 is a great beer for any season (but spring is best).
