Appearance was dark brown with a creamy white head that held on to the last drop. Smelled of brown sugar and bruised apples. Tasted like dark roasted malts and had quite spectacular ester profile of sweet fruits and real sun dried raisins to go along with a slightly yeasty flavor. The mouthful was thick and creamy with a slightly oily tinge to the tongue. One of the first truly unique beers Ive ever had so many flavors intermingle to tantalize the pallet. Very hard to describe just how excellent this beer truly is.
