Pours out a straw gold with a slow head and excellent clarity. Thinly hoppy on the nose with slight tones of grass, and bread. The taste offers a very light start. Smooth, crisp, refreshing and slight hops on the finish. More subtle tones of cracker/bread and grass carry over from the nose as it warms.
The mouth feel is pretty thin and really hurts the beer. A bit more body would go a long way. Still, a solid take on the style that just really falls into the ranks of average.

On draught at The Beer Garage in the West Village. A hazy, golden yellow pilsner from Long Island, NY. Lemon on the nose and tongue plus super refreshing, spicy noble hops. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Highly enjoyable on this warm and humid Sunday afternoon.

Have read some of the reviews below and it looks like they sorted out the body and feel of this beer… sometime in the past 8 years :-)

Growler was poured into a pilsner glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a golden straw yellow with great clarity and vision of tiny bubbles coming up through the glass. Frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank too.

Smell: Pilsner malts, pale malts, biscuit, cracker, and grassy and spicy hops.

Taste: Definitely malt forward with some grassy, spicy, and hop bitterness in the rear.

Mouthfeel: Light , crisp, refreshing, slight bitterness, some chewy characters, and a little dry.

Overall: Solid pilsner from LI. Definitely visiting or getting a growler of this next time in the area.
