Served on-tap at Drop Off Service in New York, NY

A: Pours a crystal clear pale to medium yellow in color with minimal amounts of visible carbonation and some light lemon yellow + golden yellow highlights. The beer has a half finger tall thin white head that reduces to a rather thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of wheat and rye upfront with some more moderate aromas of spices and yeast. Light notes of grassy hops and just a touch of barnyard/hay.

T: Similar to the smell, the beer tastes of light flavors of wheat and rye upfront with a light amount of pale malts. That is followed by some light to moderate amounts of rye spiciness and just a touch of yeast. Very light notes of hay and grassy hops which contribute a very light amount of bitterness.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness are present.

O: Overall this beer is refreshing and easy to drink, it would be very enjoyable on a warm spring day while sitting outside at a cafe. I found the light body, dryness, and light rye spiciness to be very complementary.

On-tap at Drop Off Service, New York, NY

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of yeast and spices are present in the nose along with some hints of grassy hops.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has some notes of spices from the rye.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and slightly dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is rather refreshing because it is lighter-bodied and dry on the palate.

A: Poured into a goblet, appears a slightly hazed golden yellow with a big crown of white head that clings to the beer and the glass.

S: Smells very spicy with an underlying fruitiness and a whiff of booze.

T: Taste is excellent. Banana and pear flavors lead into an earthy, peppery spice character and an herbal hop. Grainy with a flash of alcohol near the end. Finishes long, dry and with a lasting spiciness.

M: Light to medium body with lively carbonation.

O: Unexpectedly great saison from this small brewery in Long Island. Excellent excellent stuff. Cheers!

A. Pours a pale straw color some big carbonation bubbles. The pure white head is short and soapy settles into a light cap.

S. The aroma is lightly fruity and spicy. Noticeable clove and tart apple a bit of white wine.

T. The taste is pretty dry and fruity. Almost has an oaky flavor. Plenty of tart apple and lemon. Light spice perhaps clove but nothing crazy. The rye adds a touch of peppery spice but more sour than anything else Some acidity in the finish as well as a grassy note. They got the dry tart aspect of the style down.

F. The feel is light and bone dry. Semi soft carbonation. Tart with an odd bitterness in the finish.

O. Average saison. Bit too dry for my liking. Needs more of a yeast presence.

Fresh filled growler served in a snifter.

L - clear golden color with a white head that thinned out but still left decent lacing.

S - white pepper, yeast and a bit of funk.

T - white pepper with a sweet kick, subtle rye and hop bitterness take things to the dry finish with a sticky sweetness left on the lips.

F - medium bodied with a easy drinking crisp feel.

O - a good example of the style.
