A: The color of extremely fresh apple cider. Or light maple syrup. White cream colored lingering head that laces the glass with a spiderweb tapastry throughout the duration of the beer
S: Has a distinct cascade hop aroma, and smells vaguely of apricots, peach and pez candy. Very nice and warm IPA aroma. I wish they made candles scented of this beer.
T: Deep hop bitterness, yet balanced by a interwoven medely of malt and ethers. First tasting note are of hop character that speak of apple, blood orange, and pineapple. Its balanced off with medium malt flavor that imparts a sweetness to the beer not ussually found in an IPA. It has a warming ether flavor hidden deceptively behind other flavors, so this beer could sneak up on you since i have no idea of the ABV. Im guessing between 8 and 9%.
M: This beer is astoundingly complex and drinks more like a double IPA. Light to medium body, bitter, and beautiful.
O: This is an excellent example of the style, a bit bitter for the casual beer drinker im sure, but this truely warms my hop crazy heart. Like i said, its more a double IPA than an IPA, but it could hold its own against any hop head's wildest dreams.
NOTE: A buddy of mine brought this beer home from the Maritime festival in Greenport NY, where Greenport Harbor Brewery makes an appearance every year since its opening. I missed the festival due to work obligations, but my dear friend brought me home 64 oz of very very delicious beer. GP Harbor has done some fine work by this beer, and other beers ive tried. They're trying to make a name for themselves, and from what i hear, the tap room is worth the visit. On a previous trip i met some of the brewers, and theyre a bunch of local guys, who wanted to brew some great honest beer. They've done just that.

Got a Growler from Bullseye beer distributor in Smithtown. Poured into a pint glass.... the look of this beer is beautiful.... copper color but you can see right thru it like water... lots of bubbles which made a beautiful head that stayed for a bit but laced away. Great smell that is the quinquennial iPa smell. gave off a very hoppy smell.. pine smell all the way.... beautiful balance so it's not too dry, too heavy... very much hop taste right up front.... but if your drinking an ipa than that's what you want. Mellows out a little... little bit of an aftertaste but more so that you want more of it... I am not an IPA fan but I am slowly getting there. There are 1 or 2 other IPA's I feel are slightly better but that's not a knock... I was pleasantly surprised by how great this tasted. I will definitely recommend and look to drink again.

On-tap at Brklyn Beer Garden, JFK Airport Terminal 2, NYC
A: The beer is slightly hazy amber yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left lacy patches of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pine resin hops are present in the nose along with notes of citrus.
T: The taste is almost a mirror image to the smell and starts out with flavors of grapefruit hops and quickly transitions to flavors of pine resin hops, the latter of which contributes a moderate amount of bitterness and lingers through the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This isn't a bad IPA as it has an interesting mix of grapefruit and pine resin aromas and flavors.

On draft at Canterbury Ales, Huntington, NY.
Poured a medium copper hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured full herbal and citric hops.
The taste was likewise hop driven with a confusing medley of hop varietals. Herbal and citrus elements dukes it out for recognition.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a gods hop driven ale looking for an identity.

On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Poured into standard pint glass.
Slightly orangey golden color, nice thick head, and lots of lacing.
Pine and citrus hops. Smells really fresh and just alive.
Taste is great. Just the right amount of hops, toasty malt, and alcohol.
I had this brew a while back at TAP NY at hunter mountain. I remember this brew standing out amongst many and haven't really seen too much of it since. I really enjoyed it then and still think this is a fantastic IPA. Deff worth a try....in fact I may even say to seek this one out. Not many reviews here on BA for this, but I am not sure why. Go get one.

This is an excellent beer. Three frothy fingers of foam which dissipates to a single finger that lasts. Lacing is very good. Bright, aggressive hoppy aroma. Pine and citrus and everything delicious. Carbonation is just right. Oily the way I like it, but a good balance of bitterness and dryness, too. Poured into a Greenport pint glass from a newly cracked growler bought today from Greenport Harbor Brewery. Nice.

A: pours a deep golden color with a white, fluffy, one-finger head that thins into a thin layer of lacing at the surface.
S: faint aromas of pine and citrus
T: bright but dry hoppiness dominates, with citrusy notes at the front. hop flavors fade to a pretty dry finish with only minimal malt balance at the end.
M: light body, lightly carbonated, smooth with a nice bite at the beginning.
O: this beer lacked a strong enough malt backbone to balance out the heavy-handed hops that are characteristic of the IPA style. however, I still found it an enjoyable drink and would recommend it to someone looking for hops.
