A refreshingly delicious, moderately hopped golden ale brewed with a touch of orange blossom honey for a light, slightly sweet and floral finish. Our Summer Ale is waiting to take it’s place somewhere between softball, rooftop parties, SPF whatever, and sand in the bed.

Notes are from 5/28

A medium bright yellow color, this beer shines like polished gold. The smallish off-white head takes some time to fall and drops spotting behind.
Malts are on the dry side, crackery with some biscuit, and they offset the honey-like sweetness nicely. The hops are citrusy, and zestier than many in the regard, with a very light pith, and a bit floral. They're light, particularly for a pale ale, but they add some depth and balance. There's a touch of something lightly spicy and a very, very light nip of black pepper just underneath it all. This ale makes it hard to tell where hoppiness should lay back for a lighter "summer" profile, but the hops should be more prominent regardless.
The body is medium and the brew is fairly dry overall. Crispness and smoothness both stay with the palate off a strong but not overstated carbonation.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale straw color. A modest head quickly dissipates.

The aroma opens with hoppy notes of grass, chives and lemon. Malt aromas evoke notes of cracker and bread.

The taste features a thin cracker malt base that is mostly overshadowed by hops and yeast spices. Lightly tart lemon flavors are contrasted with peppery spices, grass and chives. Bitterness is moderate.

Light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Finish is dry. Carbonation is moderate to lively.

Although unremarkable, it is refreshing and easy to drink. Not a bad session option and good for the summer.

12oz. can into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter.

Nose is crisp honey, lemon, clove and a nice yeastiness. Pleasant and mellow. Beer opens crisp honey, aluminum, lemon, and adjunct corn sweetness. Nice but pretty plain. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down crisp and clean. A nice summer drinker.

This is solid. Nothing fancy but a nice, quenching beach beer.

Pours light hazy, gold. Foamy, medium, white head that fades fast.

Smells grain, malt, floral and yeast.

Tastes grainy malt, bready, light floral and light yeast. Finish is dry with a grainy linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.
