A deep aromatic and fruity beer with hints of passion fruit. From marathon to the edge of heaven. Where Romans witnessed Druids. When sacrifice, ritual and cultures met. When ages welcomed magic.

The colour is amber-copper (30 EBC), the liquid is clear. The two finger head is compact and yellowish. No lacing occurs.

The smell is mild and malty. Some flowery bitter notes. Biscuits, honey and caramel.

The taste is a bit dry. Notes of red/brown malts: Biscuits, toffee, dried apricots, plums. Medium to light body. The bitter flavours grows in the aftertaste, bringing some metallic notes to the front. Some of the dried fruit notes reminds me of rhubarb and plum jam. The finish is fruity with hay and dry mineral notes of chalk.

The carbonation is strong, although the large bubbles are short lived. The liquid is light to medium, it becomes almost astringent in the finish.

It reminds me of the bitters of Shepherd Neame at the same strength. But it is not as good as this one got an odd mouthfeel.

A very perfumed and hoppy taste. American hops? I like it.

A: The color is brown with quite some bubbles in the liquid. The brown head is a bit uneven and leaves faint lacings.

S: Roasted rahter dry dark malt, a bit bready. Some honey and som hoppy flowery notes. But overall rather mild in smell.

T: Strong bitterness from the hops together with the roasted dark, semi-sweet malt. Some dark dried fruits in the back, but mild.

M: Aftertaste is long and bitter, while carbonation is on the richer side. The body is thin.

O: Well, the weakest part in this beer is the low ABV, which brings the thin body and rather watery feel.

Poured into pint.
Pours murky copper with some sediment, head is thin, off-white and shortly existing, leaving some bubbles. Smell is somewhat fruity, toasted malts.
Taste is significantly bitter, hints of caramel, dry hoppy finish. Light body and medium carbonation. Hops aggressively prevails in common.
