Got a growler of this from the Sterling Virginia Sweetwater. This pours a jet black with a decent sized tan head that has fairly good retention. Lacing was left around the glass as this was consumed. Smells are mainly of roasted coffee and grains with a touch of malty sweetness. The taste is almost identical to the smell with a roasted grain and coffee flavor standing out with a bit of a bitter dark chocolate flavor to it as well. Mouthfeel is about medium with good carbonation. This is highly drinkable and a great all around stout. There is a little more coffee flavor that I would expect, but not to the point of over doing it.

Black in color with a nice brown head which lasts fairly well. A rich roasty coffee aroma and taste. Medium in body. Has a very smooth and oily type character. Made with Coffee so may not fit the style perfectly but I certainly think it is fabulous and I don't drink coffee (except when in beer :-)
Note: I have tasted at the pub and in the growler. Both very good - This review was the growler version from Merrifield, VA.

On-tap at the centerville location.
Black. Deep tan head that lasts forever.
The nose is a rich robust coffee.
Medium body and very very smooth. Roasted grains and coffee are everywhere. Very good tasting brew. I just hope that they add a little more oatmeal to the next batch.
