I'm a big fan of the Ardsley and Brewster Deciccos locations and their active and extensive growler selections, so visiting this location was a natural. Nice mid sized market with a tasty looking steam table and the expected cheeses, veggies and meat options. The beer selection here is better then middle of the road for similar places, dont expect rarities or the latest releases. They do not offer anywhere near what you will find in Brewster, Pelham or Ardsley but you will find solid choices for the widely available major craft breweries.

Nestled in the heart of New City, DeCicco's is a smallish, family-owned grocery store. The store being as little as it is, it's not hard to find the beer section (which a nice store associate directed me to), which is quite impressive for a grocery. There's a standalone rack filled with brews, such as the fruity Lindemans lineup of lambics, along with a good variety of Lagunitas offerings. There are also some offerings from Belgium (Duvel)and Canada (Unibroue's Maudite, La Fin Du Monde, Trois Pistoles). There's also a freezer section that's split in half, which the left hand side catering to the standard BMC fare and the right hand side holding the better craft offerings, including beers from Ommegang and Stone.
You won't find some of the rarer brews here, though. Can't really expect a grocery to carry things like Rochefort or St Bernardus. I was surprised that I wasn't able to find anything from Southern Tier, though.
If you're buying from here, you'll have to shell out some cash, though. The prices for the bigger bottles range around the $8-12 range, which is on the high side for brews like La Fin and Three Philosophers.
On the whole, though, it's a nice store with a fairly good selection. Definitely better than what you'll find in a regular chain supermarket.

A smaller version of the DeCiccos chain found in the suburbs. The beer selection is found straight ahead towards the left and across from the cheese/deli section as you enter the store. The quality of the beers are usually on-point, with no expired beers and chilled in coolers. However, a couple of their bombers of IPAs are not in the coolers, so watch out for those. There's a decent amount of variety in craft beer found in sixers, bombers and 750's. As far as I recall, there were about 4 types of the Lindemans lambics, some Ommegang, Stone, Unibroue, Lagunitas and various other locals. Of course, they've got the regular macros and value packs. It's pretty much self-serve as this place is quite small. The prices are a bit steep per bottle, like a Maudite going for $10.
But overall, DeCicco's is real great compared to the other supermarkets found in Rockland County, selection-wise. It's definitely worth checking out. Be wary of prices though.
