amber-gold color, strong lasting foamy head
nose: spices, herbal notes with sage and orange zest fruitiness
palate: differing from the smell this has a strong malty character, with sweet notes, very austere and in the beginning an extremely bitter aftertaste ... the latter smoothens after 30' in the glas
P.S. 1: tasting from a RIEDEL Burgundy glass (which I suppose proved a good match: underlines the sweet notes)
P.S. 2: although this had a "best before 11/15/12" on the tag (I was tasting it on 11/10/12), I am pretty certain, it would keep another 3-5 years of cellaring, thus adding to smoothness ....
